It would be kewl, boats could be starships, oceans be space, and planets depending on size and imprtance be made of multiple counties. You could also use CK2's system to recreate the fall of the empire and how it was split among various factions similar to Charlemain's empire. I don't know how the marrage system would do but i bet a good modder could do something awsome with this idea
