Because those types of things are the only things that the initial editor Square gave allows.

...and it's not even really much of an editor, more of a compiler/uploader.
...there was supposed to be a more comprehensive level editor type thingie but when they canceled the DLC and said "we quit on XV" it's been assumed they also canceled that.

Well hopefully they come up with something better for 16... 13 and 15 didn't appeal to me much anyway.

I adored 13 and 15 the most out of any FF game, personally . Though you're right, anyone need do is make their own modding method, their own modding tools, ah, It's possible, we only need think outside of the box .

Same here. 15 has been my favorite. The setting in contemporary "modern" time was so much fun. I love that title; it's been a real gem to play.

You aren't entitled to modding support for games. You aren't entitled to MODS for games. If a company doesn't want you putting your grubby little fingers under the hood of their game, that's their right as the game devs. Not all game devs need to support modding as Bethesda has.

In short; get a grip.

Which, I disagree with. The consumer supports the game, without the consumer the game does not exist. Modding gives the game longevity and replayability. To say the game has modding capabilities and then only allowing such small measures to be implemented is ♥♥♥♥ plain and simple.

Its not spoiled when the selling point of the PC version is future modding support
They didn't even need to start work on a DLC they where just going to cancel when modding give us a chance to make infinite content for the game
In FF15 case, make use of all the cut content areas and fill it with stuff

i must Say i Most enjoy FFX since it was the Last of its kind, Reminicent with the OG Turn Based Combat system.
but i do also enjoy FFXV and its Newage free combat based system! and OFC the Graphics and asthetics of the game, still wish they added an option to start a new game, then have the option to select a turn based encounter system, so instead of free combat, when you enter a circle(zone) with enemies, when you get close enough to an enemy the enemy that trigger a battle calls the surrounding enemies within range and initiate a battle sequence, and you automaticly run in in formation, and the characters movement is controlled by an Ai, and the boyband kinda circles around the enemies in battle, it would be a newage free exploration style with a twist of a Blast to the past with FFX/FFXIII with a hint of the revolution combat of XII.

with something like that they could have added in a proper battle menu With proper attack/item/ability selection + still using the Action Based inputs like block and counter, and gotten even more use of the Wait Mode and expandability of its Upgrade Tree, and aswell utilized a more expanded and refined useage of the armiger(Limit Break,overdrive,Trance, or like FFVIII and FFX/ (honorable mention Legend of Dragoon, that has a pretty interresting system) and then had a even vaster and interresting FFXV experience!.

But back on topic yes the mods seems lackluster! but also, i notice some creators have muuuuch lower quality creations than others, wich tells me they are just getting into modding FFXV or modding in general, and some mods on here seems like they are ripped off and straight up copied from another Modder on here already.

i would love to see some mods towards fixing some low poly textures for Chocobo's,
i would love for mods fixing and editing some of the Fur on Certain Enemies, That just have some overly excessive amount of Fur so that hairworks doesent strangle the Gpu!

but based on what the Modding tool that Square supplied
i feel like that would not be a possibility!
