lol was just getting back into the game and thought oh loads of new mods have been released let's see if there is a speed mod but no. so thought why not post/ask and find u also asking so want to add my voice/support for this,

if anyone knows how to do this we'd be very appreciative, unless the reason for it capped at 2x is a legit one.

Yea x3 or x4 would be perfect.

And a pause for owner.

Right now, you can toggle between x1 speed, x1.5 speed or x2 speed.

Changing that to x1, x2 and x3, or to x1, x2.5 and x4, would be very nice.

4x would be a god send. my only thought is it might be a processing limit, all the pathfinding could be an issue, I know when night ends and the mobs return home my machine slows down alot, yes its got a crap graphics card but still a 4x increase would struggle at that point.

saying that I play an unusual method of base building, so I tend to not need to fight anything at night, so I get tones of mobs on screen

Anyone seen any progress in this department? I cant seem to find anything. Also why is Multiplayer x1.5? thats rediculous and makes it so unbearable going down from just x2.

I think in multiplayer the host/owner is responsible for the game speed.

No, Multiplayer is max speed x1.5, Biomes can be x2.0 but Multiplayer has always been x1.5.

I just played multiplayer with someone and I was the host. I could change the game speed with F1, F2, F3. Speeds are x1, x1.5 and x2...

But for some reason if you click the game speed dial with the mouse, it seems to only cycle from x1 to 1.5...? It maybe bugged..

Clicking the speed dial cycles through x1->x1.5->x2->x1 for me so can't help you with that bug, but I don't play multiplayer so it's possible that it's only broken in that mode and not single player? Very strange :(

Though if they disabled it clicking to x2, it might be they did that deliberately and it's just that they forgot to disable F3 swapping the speed to fastest? Anyway, confusing.
