Smarter storage
I'm in love with the small shed/material shack mods. Just a little storage with a small footprint.

Is it possible to restrict storage?

Have a barn that ONLY accepts fish. Have another that only accepts clothing.
Have a warehouse that ONLY stores wood and stone while another only accepts clay and iron.

With these smaller storage areas, I could set one up and have my kiln workers stuff them with charcoal or my blacksmith stuff it with metal ingots. Or the shed next to the donkey farm will only accept hay and not have to worry about the stupid hunters stuffing meant and hides in every single one of my storages -_-
No one will ever need or want hides or meat in the trade fair! To the point where I sell those things off but I have to set a route for every single storage on my map just to get them to the Market.

It would make trying to set up caravan routes so much easier.

It might be possible to design mods for each type of storage but there really isn't a good mechanism (that I've been able to think of) to do it mid-game. The way storage buildings work in the game,what they store is defined when the game loads.

I don't mind needing to delete some storages and shuffle things around or start over entirely if that's what it takes.
Needing two caravans entirely for shuffling meat and hide around sucks. Why is hide put in the trade fair anyways?

Does someone use them? I mean, as far as I know, only the tailor uses hides. Why have it so ore and wood aren't put in trade fair but allow hides? I've also never seen anyone use meat when there is fish so meat is useless too and it's something I try to shuffle to my market to trade off.

Building an individual storage system sounds like it would make a mess of the menu but maybe not. Maybe just a few of the important ones?... Storage for:
-Charcoal only
-Firewood only
-Ingots only
-Hay only
-Oats only

It just seems like there's never not a logistics problem... I'm not sure of the best way to alleviate this even if it's a litle bit.

I use Sir Foxy mod Travellers Caravan, build many of them all over the place. like 2 or 3 in one section with a watch tower to prevent attacks, I build them with a trade fair nearby and the castle market then set one of the pack mules station to move certain items routinely whenever they are placed into the Trade Fair from gatherers and hunters paddocks.

Making the gatherers hut also storage would make complete sense, as it is we have to build it and then it's used for nothing else. Same with the hunter. This would achieve separate storage for each resources. Forrestor would store timber in the forester. Herbalist and so on. I have asked the Devs would they at least consider scripting the pack mules to pickup resources from storage.
