yes public beta
if everyone uploads there mods we should see around 130 going by mods i have from various people
1. How to change the displayed preview image.
I want to update the car picture on the workshop page, but it doesn't let me. I have changed the upload_preview.png, but it doesn't look like it's uploaded again if it already exists. I can add images via the workshop page, but i can not change the original picture.
2. Not updating.
I currently have a car that i can't seem to update. I validated the package id several times (eventhough i never changed it), i am subscribed to my mod, the uploader says "Upload completed" .... but the updates are simply not there.
3. What can we update?
I noticed i can't change the preview image. But there is also some issues when making changes to the .cms file. If i remove or add a body panel or interior part, how will that impact the update of the mod? How will it impact people that are already subscribed and own a car made with a previous version of the mod that might contain parts that now no longer exist?
4. How does the workshop uploader tool decide what to upload on an update?
Obviously it doesn't re-upload all, as an update is usually a lot faster then the initial upload. I would like to understand what files are monitored for changes for upload.

also sometimes it can take time to display new image
for some reason some updates need steam restart
careful with adding and removing parts in most case it works ok but sometimes it can have negiative impact on previous mod users most issue come from adding and removing body panels so just test it before releasing it
