Are there any videos or text stating how to make custom weaponry for RS2, or at least for RO2/RS1 (as the knowledge can be carried over)? I've desperately looked and looked as I didn't want to bother the modding community because I am completely new to modding RS2, but there is so little. All I can find is mapping tutorials, which I am not too interested in (thanks, Kismet).
I wanted to mess around a bit and figure out the insides of the game a bit more, and possibly get a bit deeper into modding if I manage to figure out the basics.
I have heard the spiel of getting in over my head and modding being difficult, I accept that and am only willing to experiment at this point in time.

I've attempted to manipulate the weapon values as a first step, but haven't even succeeded there.

If there is not, I don't ask you to write an essay on how to do so- I do not want to waste your time as I am not sure how long I will stick around making mods for the game.
Right now all I am trying to do is figure out of this is something I will get into, nothing heavy duty as of yet.
