Anyway to make a custom cursor? (For the main menu)
I'd like to make a mod to change it to these, just have no idea how.

Clearly not understanding, This HAS been done,

What i want to do is make this cursor appear in the main menu. not when hacking.

AFAIK, main menu uses standard Windows cursor.

Can we get a update later on that increases modability (like giving missions their own Overview files, E.G Paranoia using 1 picture for overview and briefing overview)

That question is unrelated to this discussion, but yes sure we can.

If you ask this for your mods then you can possibly mod the resource\overviews\rd-par1unexpected_encounter.txt and other files you need to add those two different textures there and put it in VPK. I think it will work for clients, but I didn't check.

Uploading custom overview txt files such as recource/overviews/asi-jac1-landingbay_01.txt to workshop breaks leaderboard feature. Game considers maps with changed overviews as separate workshop maps and creates a separate leaderboard for that map.

Yeah I discovered that the hard way, (after making all the images....)

However if you just place the files yourself (vtf's and text telling eachmap to use 2 diff overviews) it doesn't, So square one, get the text files into the actual game.

Uploaded my stuff It's "issue #69" on bitbucket Please see what needs changing (like keeping the default overview images but telling each mission to use 2 pictures)
