Can't update translation file.

Hi Skyking,

I have been trying to update the translation file for a while but every time I do so I get the following message:
"Error Updating
Could not update, unrecognized version (can happen if user manually changes version number in translation)".

I already tried reusing the original file without touching anything else but the language files and I still get same problem.

The way I'm doing it now is checking the updated original file for differences and adding them onto my mod... but it has been a pain to do so.

Is there a way to fix it?

Hey mate sorry for the late reply (been crazy busy with updates and gameplay fixes). I deleted your post from the Roadmap now that I have seen it, and we can chat here.

Hm assuming you have not manually changed the version number, and have followed all the instructions from the wiki, the only other thing I can suggest is to look for any syntax errors (it might just be displaying the wrong error).

Other than that, although it's painful, what you are already doing (updating the original file) is currently the best alternative.

No problem there. I imagine you've got your hands full.
I'll check the file again and if I can't find anything I'll stick to what I've been doing before.

I'm having the same error message with the new patch, and I can't update my translation mod.
(The translation worked fine with the 1.0.2.4 version)

Could be the version number is not updated, but could also be a typo elsewhere that is breaking the file. Please double check everything is how it should be, and if so let me know and I will look into the issue further, cheers!

I'm pretty sure there aren't typos in the text. The file_config_version in the translation file is 1.0.2.4, the last one before the new update.
