Of course, this is a really convoluted way of doing it, but at least it's a way to do it in the meantime I suppose?
Just to make sure, have you pressed "manage mods" in the launcher? I know it might seem like a dumb question but I can't really help without knowing for sure. :P
In there I can drag them around manually just as one normally would assume.
Everytime the launcher loaded it rescrambled the load order. I tried several times to make the changes via the launcher, grabbing and moving..., but they never took and often rescrambled within the launcher, no luck, just loading the launcher/game resulted in the files being rebuilt. I could actually see the dates change in the folder... very frustrating.
I attempted to lock the files, set permissions to "read only", but the launcher refused to even look at the files and just threw errors and wouldn't even consider launching the game modded.
I haven't been able to play since my last failed load attempt... by that I mean I haven't had the time. Heck today is the first time in quite a few days I even loaded Steam. I only just noticed this post today, thanks btw.
I'll look around a bit more and see if I can't make it behave more as intended. I think the local mods get loaded on the top of the stack no matter what tho, so that could be a reason.
