Long story short, I had just been fired from ZRT Autosport. Thankfully, I managed to become Team Principal of Firebird MRT. But, there were a couple of story-related problems with how the drivers and the press reacted to me being hired:

First of all, one of Firebird MRT's drivers happened to have been on ZRT for a season while I was Principal there. But he introduced himself like he had never known me.

Second, the press (since I had formerly been a politico) remarked that I was entirely new to motorsport management, even though I had been ZRT Principal for 2.5 seasons!

There were a couple of other things too. And although I am into lore and plot-continuation a bit more than the next guy, I felt like I was starting a new game. So, is there any way to modify this sort of thing to enhance the immersion?
