Shooting bug - very poor shooting/finishing
First of all i want to say i have been buying and playing football manager since 2007. I love this game and so far it hasn't let me down. FM18 is great and more realistic with all the features but it has ONE MAJOR BUG until now. The shooting/finishing is HORRIBLE. I have very good strikers but everytime they shoot it goes very wide. The long shooting is really bad too. FM17 had better shooting. The shooting has gotten so bad i am considering stopping playing this game. Just to make sure if the shooting had a problem, i edited every players finishing, long shots, composure, anticipation, decision and vision to 20 and played a few games. But the shooting was still very bad.

THE SHOOTING IS VERY BAD, UNREALISTIC AND ERRATIC. SI PLEASE FIX THE BUG SO I CAN ENJOY THE GAME AGAIN. I CHECKED ON MY FRIENDS GAMES AND THEY ALL HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND THE GAME IS GETTING UNPLAYABLE. Other than this the game is great.

Most of the shots are very bad and unrealisitic. When my strickers are one on one they mostly miss the goal by a distance. Long shooting also never goes in and my midfilders all have very good shooting.

Got close to 400 hours on FM18, not having this issue, not using the best strikers either, (Dembele, Griffiths, Moult also use a ton of youngsters, Gruebbels, Aitchison etc), 40+ goals with most if not all.

i also have the same issue. the Striker or other player(s) of mine are so bad at shooting & finishing. either when 1 on 1 situation, or even when there are no player(s) under the net and the ball goes wide. fortunately, almost all of my midfielders are good in long range shooting and sometime(s) scored from it. but still, i'm kinda frustrated with this.

I have this same problem. I have 30+ shots some games with only 1 on target - then I get beat 1-0 with their only shot on goal - I also constantly concede after my own set pieces, straight after I score and from someone running into the back post. Infuriating
