Help on workshop mod crashes? Also mods outside of workshop?

I had subed to 3 mods (GMC Truck, MKIII Supra & Lotus) and they work fine with no crashes. But when I got mods from GOTEAM.COM, the game crashes when loading city freeroam. I tried Verify cache, renstaling the game and removing any mods outside of workshop. The game went back to normal with the Mods above /\ But when I installed 2 more workshop mods(Chaser MKII & S14), the game crashes during city freeroam. Help and tips anyone?

Lmao. Funny how some people ingore my plea for help. I deleted the game anyway sence it got corrupted...

i know its like 3 months too late but i installed the mods hand by hand without the workshop installer although some mods arent there anymore.

Hi there, the problem is there are many different versions of the game.
Especially on websites like GomTeam and VStanced you will find loads of different versions.
Each mod is written for a specific version.
The Steam version is a mix of all those versions, some mods will therefor work, and some wont.
The ones that don't will will either not show up in your catalog, or crash your game.

In most cases the Steam Workshop mods will be reliable.
Maps so far I haven't gotten to work yet.
Engines are also rather hard to come by in the Steam version as of now, most of them come in a kit or dont work.

TL;DR:
Some mods work, some dont, find out by trial by error, or use the Steam Workshop for mods that actually function with the Steam version of the game.
