Is there a guide for skin making aimed at people who don't already know how to make skins?
The offical skin making guide may as well be wrtten in chinese from the perspective of someone who's only ever used GIMP to make low quality jpegs; and I recently found out that GIMP renders the example files in different way than Photoshop, so youtube tutorials aren't exactly helping.
Has anyone written a guide for dumb people (like myself)?

I was writing a guide a while ago but gave up. heres some sections from it that help if you have a basic understanding of color channels.

Also for mapping out stickers I recommend using something like this so you know where you're drawing
