Anyone know if workshop buildings can be used for quests?

I think I heard you can make a custom building work as a store etc. But I wonder if anyone has tried to link them to home invasion missions etc?

The regular missions will spawn in custom buildings if they meet the spawn requirements for the mission

Then.... where can one check to see if a building meets said requirements? If one does not have good knowledge in LUA coding. Like say a “Bandits in the _____” mission? Does it just have to be a commerce building? (Compound question apologies)
