"Did you really install the game?"

Every time i go to upload a mod for this game, It says that the game path is incorrect and says i do not have it installed, even though the game itself resides within the steam folder where its supposed to be by default.

Better late than never, right? Reinstall the game, your issue should be fixed.

Yeah, you have to reinstall the game, it's only 1,4Gb (make a backup of your save files)

See.. i tried that though, every time i do, it says files are still existant, and when i try to delete the only residual files of the game that is still within the steam folder, it states that i dont have permissions to delete them (from a local admin account..)

I have the same issue, so annoying, im resorting to manually install all of the mods.

I'm not even talking about the mods, but the game itself is doing that.. i've already unsubscribed from the mods, but the same error occurs

Usually reinstalling the game helps. If not, try to log out from your Steam account and log in again. Let me know if it didn't work.

I had completely uninstalled, re-installed, signed out, restarted, cleared cache's, wiped temp files, defragged the HD.. among some other stuff... I'm a computer tech in the military by trade, 95% of the basic stuff, i've already done, i simply uninstalled the game... and its sadly gonna stay that way until theres a patch for the issue.

I had this issue too, after reinstall i realized that the game folder name has changed from "Street Legal Racing Redline 2.3.1" to "Street Legal Racing Redline", so there were two folders. Maybe that helps some how.
