In the meantime, we have opened the arena "No Escape" and cleaned it up a bit so you can take a look. Arenas use scripts to realize their endless, increasingly difficult spawns, as this level shows.
Please note that we do not consider this as accessible as a proper arena example should be. An example would be designed specifically to be more flexible and reusable, thereby limiting the need to understand scripting at this level. It is a huge topic as our scripting documentation (found in your modding folder) shows. Arenas are definitely on the hard side of things, compared to just making a bot say something or making the camera fixed.
In order to make reading scripts easier, there is a language definition file for Notepad++ available
HERE[pastebin.com]. You can paste it into a text-file called "universescript.xml" and import it in Notepad++ under "Language -> Define your language -> Import". "SU Script" will then be available as an option for source highlighting.
Hope this helps!
