Finished in 2:25 on hard. The escape was not very elegant but I made it.

It's easy to skip the maze, I can get to the scroll in 15-20 sec.

Yeah you can skip the maze with the large gate although think you are forced through the maze when going back

2:44, no alarm. You can still shortcut to the scroll and out of the maze again.

You placed a nice large bell thing near the entrance. You can jump onto pillar that holds it.
