Yeah sorry for the difficulty there. Currently the game requires a restart the very first time you subscribe to Workshop content. As long as you have at least 1 Workshop item subscribed, you will never run into this issues again :)

Good news though--I will be replacing the Community Tracks menu with a new one soon that allows all of that to be done in-game. No more visiting the Workshop page just to search and sub!

The new in-game Community Tracks menu system will be in the next update.
