They are, you just need to "Subscribe", and they'll either be added to your download queue, added as items the next time you boot the game up, or both. :)

Talking about adding a Tag to my map in the workshop to get it to showup when you select survival levels.

interesting point, thank you for bringing this to my attention, i thought users were able to set the tags for their item in the workshop page, apparently that is an admin only feature (i wondered why nobody was adding tags xD)... i will probably have to add a dropdown or something to the workshop upload UI for this purpose (although it'll have to wait till ive got time for now)

with 2.1 you should now be able to set a tag for your item via the workshop create/update UI
