Wow. Love this. Skyrim is full of unlit, non-static lanterns. What a great idea. Also gets rid of that annoying torch noise.

What ever happened to wearable lanterns. I liked catching lightning bugs and putting them in a jar. :)

I found a lantern that works in Helgan. It's location is near the cart in the last part of the cave where the bear is . Right where the ncp gives you a bow to help shoot the bear.. Its name is the Quality Lantern. Hope this helps people that can't find them..

Nice but a few suggestions for improvement: 1. it's candle-based not torch-, so shouldn't give off as much light, 2. shouldn't make any noise, 3. should last longer than a torch but not forever, and 4. have it hang straight down when weapons aren't drawn, if that's possible.

need but one lantern for months in game seems too never burn out can even swim over rivers doesnt go out ,awesome ude in dungeons too chk for dropped items quick look then dark small area of light and very small glow at distance.

Love this mod. I always hated how useless lanterns where and how bord of torches I was.

how do you make a Wearable Lantern?

Apperantly the lanterns you pickup after subing to this mod are usable but not the ones you had before subing.

Can't seem to equip the lanterns? Any thoughts?

There seems to be a problem. when I equip the lantern in the dark my face is not illuminated.

This mod is usable for first person players and if they have there brightness down, its a good mod but npcs should use them too, to make more realistic

Great mod. To everyone, not all lanterns can be picked up. Look for a lantern with no flame, those you can grab. Works on mount too!
Find some in Helgen.

Pretty good mod. It would be better if you held the Lantern higher up when in First Person. Sort of like the Amnesia Lantern.

I would love to be able to place them but haven't had any success. You can only carry them lit. You can't put them down to light the way

After a restart, I found 3 on the Escape From Helgin

oh, there is one in that little tower with bandits when you start a game and are heading upto Bleak Falls Burrow for the first time.

I picked up a lantern but it isn't equipable or lit. Does this work on all lanterns you can pick up or just some?

Fellglow Keep has atleast 3 lanterns you can pickup and use, there are alot of decorative ones in the game that cant be picked up tho. so i can see how some people think its not working.

There are 2 types of lanterns in game, Working and none working, I have 4 working ones right now I found in diferent parts os skyrim

Great mod! this is the one i missed from morrowind the most. If you want to make the rest of my dreams come true the ability to place the working lantern to add lighting to the home would be incredible. I used that in morrowind to find things i had left behind after the first map marker was already used, and to enhance lightning in the player home. I realize how extremely challenging that would be, but i wanted to let you know how happy i am with the mod as you have already created it. Thanks!
