Brilliant map idea , poor design. Its way too hard for the attackers to even get the first objective since it is pretty much surrounded by MG's and places for NVA to hide. However it is awesome to fly in 5 hueys at once but shame it just never works.

One of the most poorly thought out maps I have ever played.

@matejmijacika You can join a custom server and it will probably be on there, or type in console "open vnte-operationvalkyrie". However, there is no bot support.

@hippocampal I have just been made aware and a fix has now been done. Just a silly mistake on my part from the previous update :P

Map is bugged currently! After taking A US doesn't have any defined spawn points, so they can't respawn.

Looks good on screens but its realy bad.....too small for 64 players

@BloodMalice it is a great map, this map is like Iwo Jima in the first rising storm, a little bit polish and it will be the iconic map of rising storm 2

@ultrazero That's why Bloodbath doesn't host it. It causes periodic server crashes. Never was able to determine the cause. Otherwise, an excellent map!

North of the DMZ? That would be North Vietnam. US and allied forces did not undertake any combat operations north of the DMZ.

Why is Foxtrot 7/8/9 (except for a tiny sliver by the rocks) out of bounds for US when attacking D? You can pretty much only attack from the beach even if you manage to flank from inland. Annoying as fuck as you can't use your weapon but you can run there.

Good map, open and with many paths to take. But you forgot to place supply crates on map.

One of the most impressive custom map's to date with RS2.

I believe we played this map together, tonight on 40-1 servers. It has been a blast and I love the fact that this is currently one of the best maps of RS2, including the official ones. But I have a few suggestions:
1- Please redraw enemy controlled areas, left side of B for example is pretty limited and you can't even shoot the enemy from most of left of B as the attacker due to the small elevation.
2- Maybe put the last obj a little further away or add some stronger defences around it as it gets captured instantly.
3- One can directly camp right in front of attacker spawns after A is taken and spawn camp the enemy, which is frustrating. (To be honest, I did this myself but at least I feel a bit of shame, after 15 or so kills.)
Apart from these issues that comes into my mind, great work, I genuinely enjoyed playing this map, although a few changes can make it a lot better.
(Also a historically more appropriate name would be much more appreciated but it is just the realism lover in me)

Definitely the most detail-orientated map in the whole RS2. And probably the most exciting to play. Finnish Community of RS2 gives a big thumbs up
