yes, I know. It took a good 3 or 4 hours of modifying the entities as it was (so that you would only use 1 gun at a time, couldn't open all chambers without completing any, etc.), and I didn't feel like adding that. in the paintgun test map, that (I believe), is corrected.

When you press a mouse button, whether you hold the gun or not, it still fires.

oh, sarcasm ]l[ I see. Besides, its meant as an experiment, not a dificult level.

Why is that harder? They're all up top, just to make a common area to reset the armory.

Also, yes I know that the guns I made are more complicated, but the idea here (for me) was to test out some new stuff in ways it wasn't meant to be used (the "repulsor" for instance, uses a trigger_push, which was originally for the vactubes). Anyway, I plan to put up some more experiments, if anyone has a good level design, I'd like to see a real paintgun level (I suck at making puzzles, or solving them).

Yes, I know about the ability to portal out. The point is that this was to test the ability to have multiple self-made weapons + the portalgun in a map. Its fairly dificult, and reqired about 15 separate entities just to dispense the three.

Just a heads up: once the player acquires the portalgun they can just portal to the ending button.

Nice demo, although keep in mind that Valve chose to use only the Portal gun for its elegance and simplicity. It's like 10 times more worthy than either the paintgun or the repulsor.

Anyway, once you can find a good model to use for the guns, it might be interesting to see them in conjunction with portals not controlled by the portal gun.

it pushes stuff away when you press the main button. I forgot that this is the old version, where you can't see the beam. Next version, I plan to add a fizzler function. Now it's just a point-and-shoot.

how does the repulsor gun work
