apples are black on the trees

I am on the older but .7 version, for some reason Gforce Now is not on the community version.

It should still work, but have not used it on the community edition

for some reason it keeps saying recipe not available is this mod still working?

my friend says the apple tree DS is stopping his server from loading. is something broken ?

you need 50 clay to grow sapling

you put an apple in it and it grow into a sapling, which you can then take out and plant, and that becomes an apple tree

if you can't find any apple trees, you should play with the trade post mod - you can buy apples from the trader last i checked, and then use them to grow the trees

So, which sapling am I supposed to put in that pot, if I never saw an apple tree in the game? (having the mod in it of course).

Server Restart Worked Peaceman, So if anyone has the same problem a restart should fix the issue since it fixed it for us. Thanks and you make great mods.

It seems like a client/server desync. I don't think there is anything I can do about it. Maybe restarting the server can fix it?

I am having the Same problem as Mad Dog and he means that You can see the planting pot at the workbench and It is unlocked, but when you press the craft button, nothing is put in the que to be crafted.

Dirt and log in the table and the planter unlocks, but when people click craft it doesn't register and wont craft the planter

I don't have that. What do you mean with cannot be crafted?

Hey Peaceman We are looking forward to using your Mod on our server. But we seem to have a bug where the planters Can not be crafted in the crafting table.

Speaking of which - had you added that capability to the automated millstone? I haven't even thought to try that in game lol

takes 24 full houirs to make apples once fully grown...most servers freeze time when no one is logged in, so that may be your issue

sorry one more question, how long do these take to grow? im in a server and I've had one fully grown apple tree for a few days now and it hasn't produced anything, everything else is growing

I have not updated the mod description yet, now you learn the recipes in the vanilla farming research. You need to craft the sapling growing pot and grow your saplings

so the server im on has this mod and apples are in the crafting menu and what not but orcharding research isn't there, is there another way to get them?

That's what I was getting at - it's helpful for not having claims expire, but it can be frustrating if you don't know that's what's happening

Yes, servers have option to pause the game when nobody is online

Update:
I tested it on our server with one connected client and left both allone for 2 h and then the mod works.
It's a little bit weired, but it seems that if no Player is connected to the server, the plants and trees won't grow and the craftings don't finished!
So the mod works correctly!

Sure, its a Testserver and no one but me is online. But after i places the growing pot and started the crafting, i left hin alone!

The pot was empty. I've plantet yesterday over admin rights a Tree. I will see, if its growing. Runns now about 11 h and i'll wait until tomorrow.
But the second growing pot i've build and startet to craft a sappling, the display shown no progress too.

Make sure the pot is empty, or else it can't complete :D

Ahm... the sapling isn't growing inside the pot on a DS. I can start crafting it, but it wouldn't finished. I've been wating for 1h and the craft display shows no progress.

Or peeps could just download and upvote your trading post mod ;)

I just tested this without the trading post mod installed and it indeed opens the window :D I will fix this warning right now. This can be anoying lol

The "error" is just that a crafting category is missing, the game then just disables those recipes and lets us know. No issue. And about getting a message when you join the server?? Never seen or heard of that. Must be from a different mod

Our server is uptodate. And thats not only warnings. If i join the server i'll get the message, that one of the mods couldn't been loaded because of errors!
I tested this mod on a test server with no other mod. And a MOD_CRITICAL_ERROR is no warning! :D

Those are just warnings. I will add a dummy category so you stop seeing those

make sure your servers are up to date.

The hotfix they released yesterday took care of all the issues mine was having with this mod

I am having the same issue, gives an error saying wont or didnt load ( on DS ) and critical error ( on SP ) but does appear to function dispite the errors.

I have to try and load it locally, the log on the server doesn't want me to be able to read it, error message aside, it does seem functional, but my only concern there is that I've the damin - functional for me doesn't mean functional for all...I'll let you know what i can dig up

What is the error? Did you check log?

Not sure if I'm the only one with this issue, but my DS doesn't want to load this because of some issue...is it possible one of the hotfixes they've done in the last few days broke it somehow?

yes I see you can craft the planter pot with clay in the table, but where to get the seed apples to start the process?
