You think it would be a problem? I try to imagine a Sniper going full Conan and charging into a group of enemies to melee them, while switching back and forth between the pisstol and bushwacka... squirt... slash... squirt... slash... I frankly can't see him surviving that for long.

The best utility is squirting his Sniper-juice all over enemies from mid-range and then letting his teammates finish them off. That is a type of group assist that already exists in the game, with the Sydney Sleeper, Jarate, Fan-O-War and Mad Milk, without being gamebreaking.

Sure, it would have to be playtested for abuse potential. But it really depends mostly on the attack intervall and duration of the applied jarate, I think.

@useless: Why would the pisstol be OP against Spies? The Sniper can already either spam SMG shots around to spycheck, or hurl the Jarate jar at the vague area he thinks a nearby Spy is in and get him with the splash damage.

does it seem that way? it has less triangles than some stock weapons, like the grenade launcher, i made sure of that. fortunately there are also enough level of detail models that it can always just be implemented without the highest detail version, so hopefully that covers it.

Looks a little too detailed? Like, don't get me wrong the model looks nice, but it's a lot more detailed than other weapon models.

All we need now is a variation of this weapon for Scout that shoots Mad Milk to go with this and we're set. Hope this makes the cut regardless though.
