This allows for a much more sleek design which is still in eye-candy jet plane form-factor and still allows to install large braking ion thrusters without over-complicating the design.
Many bombers with lateral, forward-facing RRLs have that issue named "where do I place braking thrusters". The launchers and the cockpit take up most of the front-facing area, making it hard to fit in at least a pair of large ion thrusters. Hydrogen thrust could save the day, but it requires a huge tank for 1-2 minutes of work time, and the onboard oxygen generators require too much ice which makes the actual combat mass too high.
I am not quite convinced by the main weapon system though. It looks like something that'd be hard to aim during combat and bomber have to approach within 800m so turrets will be a problem. Honestly, I'd expect more punch from a bomber. But all in all it's just rambling and nitpicking, great craft.
Would use, but I'd classify it as attacker.
