hi guys! that is a great work but i am facing a problem. Despite the fact that the mod run properly before ten days, i set up a standard game to play in two hours ago and the architecture was the normal one. Does anybody know why? it seems that the mod is not running

Will there be a custom fortified wall? Or is the stone wall going to be the only custom wall? Also custom gates?

Oui et non, car en réalité les fichiers graphiques utilisés pour l'IA mod ont une dénomination différente que les fichiers originaux, ils sont "en plus" du jeu de base. Ce qui est logique vu que tu as plus de graphiques au final que le jeu original, donc plus de nouveaux noms de fichiers. Ca dépend de la civilisation en fait, par exemple pour les francs, tu remplaces les fichiers originaux par des nouveaux graphiques. Mais pour les espagnols, les brittaniques et les celtes qui ont la même achitecture de base que les francs, ce sont des fichiers en plus pour chacune des civilisations.

@孤独な狼 : Certes, mais pour l'instant on ne peut pas faire autrement. Ou alors tu a la possibilité de télécharger les différents graphiques et le mod de Saint_Michaels et de les implanter directement dans le dossier ou ton jeu est installé. Perso, c'est ce que j'ai fait pour ne pas avoir à sélectionner de mods.

Your mod is already wonderful, but would it be better to follow the "characteristic shapes and sizes" for buildings like market? I mean, for example, there's no such a long stairs in the market in your mod.

In fact it's not quite perfect yet. I realized some days earlier that the monastery still haven't any shadow. And i would love to change the university's statue for a Thor statue or something like that. Then also the walls and everything would be perfect :)

Everything is perfect now... The last thing can be the walls: the good choice will be a strong wooden palisade for stone walls, and something wood-and-stone for the fortified walls. beside that is sooo amazing!

Thank you for the new Castle. The base of the old one had too much Asian in it. I found it far from Viking culture, and since I am from Scandinavia, (Denmark to be precisely), I should know about it.

This looks really good :) But could you consider to do another version which would work without Independent Architecture -mod? I use Tyrannohotep's Big Architecture Mod and Independent Architecture is incompatible with that one :/

@Dynamo128 : Yakko's Teutonic set, I know it, but I don't use it. Of course it could be used for IA, since Teutonics are seperate with IA. But there's only buildings for Castle Age in this set.

@noble_lancer : Found it ! But I can't download it ... I saw that there was a nice windmill instead of the watermill I made, I like it too ! But I prefer the castle from Age of Civilizations. It's seems like the rest are the same as this mod.

@somphet1987 : Found it too, and you're right the SLP looks like those ones. I never saw his pack before. He's got interesting stuffs.

@Szaladon Je comprends ton point de vue, j'ai cherché pendant longtemps un set pour l'âge féodal qui correspondrait bien aux vikings, et c'est vraiment celui-là que je trouve le mieux pour l'instant. J'aime bien cette texture bois personnellement, et après la texture des toits est la même que pour l'Europe de l'Ouest, mais je comprends ce que tu veux dire pour le marché. Après c'est le set que Yakko a fait j'ai pas modifié grand chose à part la tour et le camp d'archers. Il y a d'ailleurs un problème de couleurs que je modifierais à l'occasion.

Seems that there's quite a lot of other nice stuff from AOFE though if you want to consider uploading new sets (http://www.voobly.com/gamemods/mod/312/Forgotten-Empires-33/Overview) . The castle for the Vikings from there (taken from Age of Voivods) looks pretty nice too.

J'aime bien le set de l'age imperial et des chevaliers, mais pour être tout à fait honnête les bâtiments de l'age feodal ne me plaisent pas trop .Ils sont trop différent par rapport aux autres groupes d'architecture. Le marché par exemple à l'air d'être un mélange entre une maison et un marché qui peut paraître bizarre. La qualité des textures est aussi moyenne comparé aux autres ages.

En tout cas, c'est du bon travail.

It's not that improbable : check the Mongols Wonder, it's the great tent of Genghis Khan after all ... Anyway, you can't be totally acurate with a game like AoE II, It's more akward to me to have classic european knights in almost every worlds civilisations, than having a giant tent as a castle for a nomadic tribe.

I thought I too a solution type tent, but then I thought it was too improbable the idea of a tent as a "fortress", but as the Huns and Mongols invaders could happen that occupied the fortresses of their enemies (the Romans and the Chinese precisely )

I already use this whole chinese mod made by Yakko so it's gonna be weird to have the same castle for Chinese and Mongols, but differents others buildings, and as you say, it's a nomadic people, so I was thinking of something like a giant tent (but taller than the Mongol Wonder of course) with a stone base (cause you need stone to build a castle), and both Huns and Mongols could share it.
