@Soulless - Answer: Ish... Each overdraw perk you take increases their power. And to make up for the fact that they dont scale your archery skill I made it so upgrading them will boost your skill instead.

question: Do the hand-crossbows benifit from the archery skill tree?

Mod is great just ran a test char though an early quest with sword in one hand, and a crossbow from this mod in the other. It worked great with 2 small provisos. The grip of the crossbow only extends to the first 2 digits of the hand, needs to be longer, secondly I used it hevily though the first dungeon and it didnt affect my archery skill at all. If these could be fixed, all it would need to be my favorite mod is more variety, ideally all the stations of the crafting table.

mod is awesome in itself but do please consider in remmodeling the crossbows, especially nocturnals crossbow, they just don't look right... if you lack ideas then take a look at Diablos hand crossbows. I understand it might be difficult due to the fact its not easy to make these but still.

t first I was like "wouldn't this break the animation?" then I was like F*CKING AWESOME!

I've tried to crafted them and can't it says I need leer soul gems andI have both filled and enmpy in my inventory. so why won't it left crafted them and yes I have dawngaurd, it just wont let me create them

So do you need to join the dawn guard to start finding these or do they not appear in merchant stock till a certain level? None of the blacksmiths I've met have had them yet, should I check a merchant that normally sells staffs?

Can you add the Fire bolt or the Ice bolt? it would be cool if you could have every thing the normal crossbow dose just in 1 hand

Its an awesome mod, but frist i got confused because of the shoot animation... like i use a staff

This is the first mod I am Getting as soon as i get dawnguard! If you have the corvo's blade mod, this one seems to complement it perfectly for those Dishonored fans out there.
If you need ideas for improvement, a conjured version would be cool as I like to go mage often.

A suggestion is you could make a falmer crossbow?

Do they give experience or do theyamount to staves in that respect as well?

I would recommend Daedric crossbows.

2 Suggestions:

maybe make them faster and to compensate make them do less damage (because i think it would look realy cool to charge into a room guns blazing and bolts flying everywhere)

also it would be nice if the guns just stayed in one place while fireing the animation is a little weird

Wriggle theres already an mod with gem Armors, Weapons and Crossbows. Search for Diamond smithing or something like that (i used it a long time ago and i might not record the exactly name of it)

How about crossbows that require gems to craft? As in ruby, amethyst or diamond crossbows? It would be very asthetically pleasing as well as being an addition to the mod.
