Before I download this, can you put some people in here, there are no servants, it's practically bare, and if this was supposed to be used for generations, then there should be servants, and many artifacts on display here, yet the place is virtually empty! The place would not be used for generations and still be bare of many artifacts, there should be at least some to show that previous generations had been there!!! Come on, let's get real!!!

Before I download this, do items in the house ever respawn? Like the Ingots in the treasury room? Or are they static items that can't be moved?

actually Dovakiin is a translation of dragon Kin which dates back to Norse myth stories of those that claimed to have encountered dragons and formed a bond with them, it also is used to identify one with honour and Fierce power.

"Dovahkiin" is Draconic for "Dragonborn"; neither are names, both are titles and are the same. None of the individuals that threw him into the future were dragonborn. Nothing in the game says they didn't have homes, halls, or sanctuaries; all that is said is that very few are known to have existed and that the most recent one that is known is Tiber Septim. They explicitly state there could have been several between now and then that simply have never known (and thus never used) their powers. If you're going to criticize someone for not knowing the lore, at least be accurate when talking about the lore yourself ;)

Great mod! I love the look of the place and that you have to go looking for it. Wish it was navmeshed for spouses /Hearthfire, but still a favorite.

there haven't been any other dovahkiin throughout the ages. DOVAHKIIN IS SOMEONE'S NAME. JUST LIKE JAKE OR BOB. YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT DRAGONBORN. ALSO THERE WEREN'T THAT MANY OF THEM TO USE IT THROUGHOUT THE AGES. THEY DIED AFTER SENDING ALDUIN TO THE FUTURE WITH THE ELDER SCROLL. ALSO IT SPECIFICALLY STATES THE ANCIENT DRAGONBORN DID NOT HAVE HOMES OR HALLS OR SANTUARIES.

great mod!! my favorite home by far on the workshop. perfect if you feel the most powerful person in skyrim should live like a king not a villager. ive loaded mine with guards,servants and my favorite followers using Amazing Follower Tweaks

other than a few minor glitches (mannequins dont always load properly) this is my favorite location and place to stor all of my weapons and armor. thanks!!

If your having problems with locked doors just press ~ then click the door and type unlock and click enter.

does it need dragonborn dlc?

The door opens to nothing so i dont think there is a key.

@zachary.scott82 that happens even in vanilla because mannequins are overall glitchy. Not because of the mod.

I just wanted to mention that I have had a copy glitch occur a few times. I placed the dragon priest mask Zakhriosis on one of the mannequins in the blacksmithing room, then decided to move it later. After moving I saved my game, logged off, and went into that room, and it was there again, but also it was in the new location. Just wanted to mention it to you.

The key to the locked door in temple hall? I got a sanctuary key but arena and the gate left from the greybeard stays locked.

GREAT mod. Very well done. On a fun note, whenever I enter the Throne Room from the main entrance, some (and sometimes all) of the mannequins ARE WALKING AROUND (they just walk over to their designated spots and stand as they should). Scared the ♥♥♥♥♥ outta me the first time =p Kind of creepy watching your Thieves' Guild being worn by a faceless humanoid.

are their guards too?

love your steam 1 hate your nexus 1.
i like to place my followers in your steam 1 but cant get them even to enter the nexus dovertemple2 its nice but i cant use a mod that wont let me place my companions in your temple, so ive goten rid of dovatemple2
i was realy hoping to be supriesed, but with the new one i was realy dissapointed
1 cany get followers inside 2 there is no bottem temple or and escape tunnle anymore
so yer hate 2 love 1 sorry but i feel you messed teh mod up

This place is huge. You must have spent hundreds of hours making this Mod. Thumbs up and favorite.

I would have liked to stick with the workshop but they need more options on updating mods, like a small version note and allowing the mod author to disable auto-updates per version. I would either need to create a new page for the 2.0 version, which I don't want to manage, or upload it to this one and watch as everyone's game broke.

Only problem with this mod is the lack of an update for Dragonborn (masks etc). It may be done on Nexus but for those of us that don't use Nexus... bummer. Pity it's not maintained here or it would be the best house mod on workshop.
