it works for me so i'm not sure what's wrong...
Ah yes that's an overlook in my part, try putting this command in the console when you're on a server :
cl_new_impact_effects 1 to turn it on and
cl_new_impact_effects 0 to turn it off.
As far as i know, this works fine on multiplayer.
I don't know if there's a way to recover an addon but if you had it subscribed before it go taken down, perhaps you still have the .gma file?
8/8 Im not mad that I have to put it in every game.
