I sometimes wish the Colour Gun had access to the colors beyond Near White and Near Black.

@kyream, First off your mod is amazing and i love it. Second, can we beg you into updating it to have all the new colors? There are 100 usable dino colors in the game now.

This is so awesome and easy to use. The ONLY thing that would make it better would be a randomized option, for those of us who can't think of what would look good until we see it. Lol Please include a random option!!

The mod is easy to use press F3 to change the colour ID and press f1 to change the region you have to fire each time you select a region for it to work so 5 regions means you have to fire the gun 5 times

Kyream you made the color gun in the pugnacia dinos mod right? If you did then can you update this color gun mod to where it has all the colors that the color gun in the pugnacia dinos mod has.

this mod used to work for me but now wont load into the game since the last update and I am heart broken. I dreamed of a mod like this and when I found it and it worked I was over the moon. my dinos looked sexy and badass at the same time. I hope its not permanently broken.

Is there a way to limit use (e.g. a gun can only be used once to paint a dino?) Looking to use it as a reward for events with limited number of paint jobs.

Any chance this could be updated to only allow players to change their own dinos' colors?? It was removed from a server I play bc someone was abusing it and coloring other peoples' dinos. :/

This mod is still working, running it on our Rag server and we are loving it!! That 120 wild dino isn't the right color? It is now. We have people going out and just painting wild dinos in all sorts of weird color combos

Yes you can use configurations in the game ini to hide any engram you want, and then just spawn the item when you need to use it.

is it possible to have this mod for admins only? ex disable the engram?

What are the region and color id controlls on pc?

Are there any ini file commands for keybindings? I use my 'F' keys for other things and would like to change bindings for Color Gun.

@HCpenguin That is correct. It essentially shoots admin commands at the dinos. Allowing you to change any color region to any color. Each dinos available color regions and what they are can be found online. This mod is an awesome one, even if you just wanted to hide it and make it easier as an admin to recolor dinos for rewards or whatever.

so does that mean it changes the color of the dino's natural color rather than the dye/paint color?

there seems to be a problem with the griffin colors, i want to have it black/grey in region 0 (basically the front part of the fur) but after relogging the color dissapears.

Can you make it so that on PvP, other tribes can't go around coloring other peoples dinos, just make it to only they can customize their own tribe dinos

@Areei People Color your dinos even without this mod item. Months ago on an official server pre-tek there was a guy making lots of threats and cocky attitude to players. so me and a friend searched for him found him, and Colored all his dinos pink. word of advice start putting turrets/plant X or taming more dinos to spare on Aggressive. maybe make walls around too so your dinos aren't lured far away.

No Admin to enforce their behavior? Capture them and lock em up in a cage and keep em alive. capture his friends too. They wanna act like animals, treat them like animals. or move somewhere else. Raid their base too if you allowed. Try to find them and do the same to them too.

@Areei at this time there is no way to do that, as these guns are using admin commands, which bypass pretty much all restrictions. Although I imagine a little reworking could prevent this from coloring any dinos outside your own tribe.

Can you add a reset button or make some sort of setting so other people cant color your dinos? We have people trolling us and repainting our dinos constantly
