This is the open beta of the repentance port. It's around 90% done so far, and will be made fully public and visible once the other chars have unlocks. (And when most of the weird bugs are fixed)

im so glad i came to look and see its still in development.. i do hope it gets updated soon but at the same time take ur time because i want this mod to be the best it can be.

It is still in active development, I am currently refining the tainted characters and adding tainted unlocks to vanilla characters. That is the last big content wave I want to implement before an official release!

As Snopingasusual said it is close, I just took a small hiatus from working on it for when I was wrapping up school. I just graduated last week so expect a version soon enough!

it's not just new characters and items (if I remember correctly there will be 5 new characters + their tainted counterpart). But also new enemies and bosses, new room types, new mechanics, three alt floors and a new final floor with its own new final boss. He's pretty close to progression but the updates slow down after each summer, probably because of school

Over a year now :) It's very close, just optimizing and brainstorming the last tainted characters with another boss or two and I'll start preparing for an official release!

@ham_n_cheese deli does spawn with more hearts lately, I did some rebalancing in the last patch or two. Xaphan's active item is getting extra attention and visibility with the next update so hold tight, just wrapping up a few things and it'll be released!

there are few bugs like deli spawning with 3 hearts instead of one and xaphan's active item not working can you please fix this

No problem at all, thank you for letting me know! The mod uploader tool Nicalis provides doesn't allow for unlisted visibility, so I have to manually shift it after each update. I've been ill the last few days so I haven't checked in a bit but just fixed it!

I'm actually getting very close to a release, if you are interested in seeing the progress feel free to check it out via the links I've posted! Otherwise, I'd estimate I'm about 85% done now, mostly just cleaning up what's implemented and getting the last few content goals reached I appreciate your words, it means a lot to know that I have your support! It's been a lot of juggling as I manage schoolwork, a professional life and this but I'm very excited for the full release to happen. It's been hundreds of hours of work at this point and it's shaping up to be the cleanest vision of this project yet!

Still hoping the Repentance version is released at some point. More than that though, I hope you're well, brother (sister? I know I shouldn't assume). Even if this never gets released, I'm grateful for your hard work - you make this community more fun to be a part of, and that's a great thing.

y'know, i've never seen a mod other than antibirth survive through 3 generations of isaac, other og afterbirth mods like heretic, agony of isaac and tale of samuel have all died by now, i give you props mindset, good job :)

@jnadler The Repentance version has the reskins as their own floors, so once that comes out it will be an addition rather than a replacement! It'll also be able to be toggled, in case you aren't interested in it.

I was considering making another soundtrack for this version because the old soundtrack was tailored to my floor reskins. Without those versions of the stages, it wouldn't have fit quite as nicely as it did in the original setting.

@Mister Chief I decided not to include it in this version because I was initially planning to make another soundtrack for this version of the mod. When I get the repentance version uploaded I'll make an official Godmode OST mod for the original tracks in the mod :)
