snow elf armor would be nice at this point , then you bothered to add the falmer ... though it might be in the DLC T-T)
Loreknight 15. feb. 2016 kl. 17:38
or unique armor
Loreknight 15. feb. 2016 kl. 17:38
Could you continue to add more? Including ancient nordic armor, forsworn armor, and pretty much EVERYTHING that isn't a unique weapon

Okay - there is maybe a work around: I do not promise this works. I can only tell you all I tried this 3 x's in a row and it worked for me:

1st - Install only Nexus mods.
2nd - Then run the Steam Skyrim Game Launcher and it should (??) work.

Also there seem to be a max ... Some have found that over 30 +/- Mods and you will not get them all... something like the first 20 or so.
jjb-54 20. jan. 2016 kl. 15:36
I'll 2nd this - Steam is simply NOT allowing any d/l of mods from Steam. Yes, I'm sub'd. Yes I even tried - unsub - run and then re-sub'd ... No work. :(

I have 20 mods that are useless on Steam - as Steam does NOT download mods any more.
Leonord 20. jan. 2015 kl. 4:38
Could you please add the mod to the nexus
GilgaMocha 23. sep. 2014 kl. 12:57
I found this mod while looking for Silver Smithing options, but when I was looking at this, it contains many redundancies and overly expensive recipes (2 ingots AND other mats for a small quantity of arrows?). I appreciate the effort and work authors put into their mods, but I won't be using this one. Too much hassle to take advantage of what it tries to offer.
flamingbeast999 9. juli 2014 kl. 17:32
could you maybe add chitin weapons to go with the chitin armor set?
Frankenstein 19. maj 2014 kl. 3:32
The headsmans axe isn't meant to be used by a character, that's probably why its keyword is set wrong.
gliscor96 23. apr. 2014 kl. 0:41
any chance one of you know how to fix the whole "headsman's axe concidered one handed weapon" problem?
kurtrhinehart 22. mar. 2014 kl. 4:33
Much appreciated, it is a great deal of fun to craft so many items that were previously unavaillable to you. Excellent idea.

@Curious: I'm sad to say that this mod needs a major reworking. Arrow forging is kinda useless with Dawnguard adding it (with cheaper recipes as well), Nord Hero Bow got finally fixed by the patch, etc.

If you want, we can pool our efforts (I've taken over the "Forger" mod) to create a new "Smithing extended".
Frankenstein 4. okt. 2013 kl. 6:14
@dilgerstefan:
If you still want that stuff, it's not too hard to do, I could make a small mod for you, containing the stuff you asked for.
@derfuchs13:
I feel the same, but at the same time, since it's "only" the forsworn bow, the exploit isn't too big and I for one, actually like having a viable bow for hunting deer early in the game.
Dr. Un Pleasant 20. sep. 2013 kl. 13:08
The Falmer helmet is under hide, could we get a fix that puts it under misc like the rest of the set?
Fail_Knight 9. mar. 2013 kl. 21:42
does this conflict with voidcraft the armory?
AntonC 22. feb. 2013 kl. 22:49
is this mod compatable with other smithing mods?
cloud2243 19. feb. 2013 kl. 21:48
the creater of this mod should make the skyforge steel only ceate able at the skyforge. p.s sorry about spelling.

That ♥♥♥♥♥ You Love To Hate 10. feb. 2013 kl. 11:27
can you make forsworn armor with this?
belzebot 31. jan. 2013 kl. 13:40
I don't know about making ancient nord weapons, because their background is having been made thousands of years ago, then lying in the burial sites with the draugrs all this time and of course degrading and all that. This is something you just can't reproduce at a forge, even if you knew the ancient smithing techniques that have been used to make them. But otherwise I like the mod, good work.
mayingan 26. jan. 2013 kl. 4:16
Why didn't they think this sooner? Limited magic, armors, weapons... All that was badly made.
Dragonzflyte 17. dec. 2012 kl. 13:04
Yay! I won't have to buy so many arrows anymore!

Are there any known incombatabilities? I have a mod adding some workstations- tanning rack and such- to the skyforge as well as a weapon mod and I don't want to kill my game...
Parabol76 23. nov. 2012 kl. 0:20
Was there a recent update to this mod? I dont see some of the items in the crafting list in game anymore such as the Forsworn armor and weapons.
modelmode 13. nov. 2012 kl. 17:32
I can smith my beloved Headsman's Axe to an even sharper edge now! Thanks!
Derfuchs13 24. okt. 2012 kl. 6:50
Hey, i dont know if someone else commented on this before.

I think the mod is awesome, works great too, but causes a small smithing exploit. The Forsworn Bow its too easy to craft. I know it makes sense lore wise for it to cost only 3 wood, but the materials are too easy and free to make and the bow is too expensive. So you can basically train Smith out of Forsworn Bow's bows from lvl 1 and make yourself rich at the same time.

Some suggestions are to add some other material to the bow to be crafted, maybe a leather strings (4 or so), so it cant be so easily exploited.
Drake Lunari 13. okt. 2012 kl. 16:50
Might this be fully compatible with Dawnguard and Heartfire? I am extremely wary of conflicting things, particularly worried that the arrow crafting and falmer armor may cause issues.
Frankenstein 13. aug. 2012 kl. 8:54
@dilgerstefan: a mod which adds most of the stuff you asked for (especially the unenchanted "unique" armor) is the "Forger" mod. Both mods work well together.
Curious  [ophavsmand] 13. aug. 2012 kl. 4:04
I will if I have time. I have a little contract work to do at the moment, doing some updates to this is next on the list after that.
Frankenstein 9. aug. 2012 kl. 12:30
Actually, instead of fixing your script you can just set the requirement for the imperial stuff to "questcompleted:XX". XX standing for the "outfit imperial" quest.
Curious  [ophavsmand] 9. aug. 2012 kl. 12:27
apologies for the long absence I have been on a very long job hunt and stopped playing skyrim and developing this mod as a side effect. The imperial gear drastically needs fixing, sorry to everyone who has been waiting a long time for that. The command I posted in the comments should have worked as a temporary solution but it was never meant to replace work on finishing the script. I will finish the quest scripting sometime soon. If dawnguard catches my interest hopefully I will start adding new features as well.
HellRaiser 26. juli 2012 kl. 10:26
C mom we are on july now ,this mod is from february do something new!
Porphyrogennetos 27. juni 2012 kl. 18:03
Hey MrFrank could you upload the fixed version please
Frankenstein 19. juni 2012 kl. 22:01
The problem with the imperial stuff is "simple": The creator made a script which doesn't work. If you open the creation kit and look at the recipes, you can change their unlocking requirements. Just delete the one with the global.
bisjul 15. juni 2012 kl. 20:43
Great mod! WHOO ♥♥♥♥ TO MAKE!
Porphyrogennetos 10. juni 2012 kl. 16:42
yep the imperial stuff wont unlock for me too
Rel3elskum 10. juni 2012 kl. 9:52
For some reason i started a mage character and he started out with a smithing of 5 and now my smithing is 12 and i still can't temper the iron dagger for the blacksmith generic quest.. do i have to get the steel perk for me to be able to use the grindstone ?? it wont let me grindstone anything atm..;(
Frankenstein 28. maj 2012 kl. 13:46
Found the problem in the creation kit. I will unsubscribe and fix the mod by myself. Thanks for the great work!
Frankenstein 28. maj 2012 kl. 13:27
Hey, since you don't reply to comments, im going to ask if i can modify and reupload your mod. I really want that imperial smithing thing fixed. If I can help, then i would help as well.
owiion 28. maj 2012 kl. 8:47
Man do I love this mod. :D
TB_92 19. maj 2012 kl. 4:41
danke dafür !
Frankenstein 11. maj 2012 kl. 13:08
I already wrote about imperial smithing not unlocking. The point that bugs me most about this is, that in the vanilla game imperial smithing is easily available. I want to craft my own imperial armour if i join the legion. Just for kicks. So please reintroduce it. It makes sense lore-wise for imperial to be always available. The imperium is everywhere. So every smith knows about their armour.
nattwood 3. maj 2012 kl. 5:52
hey, just wondering why the imperial stuff isn't showing up, theres nothing about it in dialogue with rikke or beirund. Please help.
Aosabi 23. apr. 2012 kl. 15:36
I do not see anywhere that it mentions smelting.. must I DL a new mod for this. yours seems promising, as I enjoy unlocking my items, so I feel as though I accomplished something to earn them.
I am looking for a mod like this and one that will let me smelt all weapons, armor, random items like wood bowls, silver bowls, and leather armor on the tanning rack. I had one once, but because of conflicts i removed it and cant remember what it was.
Frankenstein 23. apr. 2012 kl. 12:55
I love the mod, but somehow Imperial smithing doesnt get unlocked. Neither through getting the equipment from Beirand nor through talking to Rikke. Any ideas or help?
desyatnikalex 21. apr. 2012 kl. 8:10
in gameplay im new at mods
desyatnikalex 21. apr. 2012 kl. 8:09
how do you gets this thing working
PatMoxx 8. apr. 2012 kl. 15:30
Dragonbone arrows should definitely have increased damage, but overall good mod.
AzuraStars 3. apr. 2012 kl. 9:58
OMG YAY ARROWS! ;o;
The Internet Janitor 8. mar. 2012 kl. 18:02
This mod is fantastic. Does it change the damage on the forsworn bow? Maybe it's simply that it is available at the very beginning, requiring nothing but firewood, but it totally outclasses all other bows at that point. Even more powerful than an orcish bow. Perhaps it is supposed to be this way - I normally only saw them once I had attained a higher level sicne markarth is far from the start, so I didn't notice. I noticed you plan on making it a quest reward, so if that happens it would fix this anyway.

Great mod!
Hooligonzo 7. mar. 2012 kl. 0:15
I really dig the look of a lot of the Falmer stuff, but find their weights to make them impractical. Any chance that you can make Improving them trim their weight down a smidge? I mean, a bunch of them weigh more than Steel options.
