Would it be hard to implement a search bar for this mod?

Can u somehow Limit and randomise that? Like 10 random items per round?

@Tim I know you added a lot of stuff but you can't deny that you used my code as a base. Just compare yours [github.com] with mine [github.com]. Even the comments I added are the same, not to mention all the ConVars containing "bem" (short for Better Equipment Menu) :p
I don't have a problem with you using this, but at least be fair and admit it :)

The version that we use in TTT2 isn't based on your addon though. It's completely made by us. The random shop is also a part of TTT2 :)

@Simonky16 I'm probably a little late so I guess you figured it out already :p The mod Dhalu uses for this videos is actually TTT 2 . Alf used my mod and incorporated it into his mod along with some changes/additions I guess (havent played it so I don't know everything about it. Tbh I just discovered TTT2 after reading your comment and had no idea anyone was using this for their project :D). I don't know if random items are part of TTT2 or if they were developed especially for his LP.

@CockinaSweater As the authors of More roles for TTT mention in their description, you don't need my mod if you use theirs since it already ships with my equipment menu included.

Just so everyone knows this addon will clash with the 'More roles for TTT' addon and will cause the traitor/detective equipment to come up as a grey box with nothing clickable. I haven't figured out how to fix this issue because removing one or both the mods still leaves me with this problem.

Hi! I've recently seen a modified version of your addon featured in this video (german) . Do you know how to modify the addon to only show random items, as can be seen in the video? Maybe you're even the mysterious person who created the modified addon? :D

I've been looking for an addon with that exact same functionality for my private server for ages. If you have any clue on how to achieve this, please help me out.

@Rooker I don't know what you mean. You can add weapons and items through mods. Not sure if that's what you're asking though.

@Codename I know I'm a little late, but this could be an issue with an old server version and a newer version of this addon. You could manually replace the cl_equip.lua file with this version [raw.githubusercontent.com]. Even though using the newest server and client version is recommended.

@Boysnatch Thanks for this, I remade my server from scratch without the addon to ensure its removal but some of my players still had issues so I've let them know to remove that file from their personal addon folders. It's a shame because I really liked the addon.

I still have the old server which I haven't deleted yet, If I get time I'll try recreate the error and put up an error log something here to help as I'd love to be able to include it and know it'd work :)

@Codename Mhh, sounds strange... I'm not sure what could cause this. If you figured out this addon is causing it, could you provide some kind of error log?

If you want to remove the addon from your server you need to also remove the 'ds_878772496.gma' from your servers garrysmod/addons folder and restart it. THat should completetly remove it.

Please help, I am having a problem where on my server occasionally when a detective or traitor tries to access the menu it gets stuck on their screen and it's greyed out and the mouse is still moving the players aim and is not a mouse on screen they can use to close the menu.

So they are unable to see, unable to buy anything and unable to close the greyed menu screen. The game indicates that this add-on is the cause

How do I remove the add-on from my server entirely (removing from my steam collection hasn't worked)? Or fix it so that this stops happening? Many thanks

@CoolChiz what do you mean by "the menu is gray"? Is it empty or greyed out? And does that always happen or in some special cases? Do affected players get any errors in their console?

There is a bug where some player's equipment menu is gray? I put the addons via workshop DL

Like Luca said, it's made for TTT. I've never tested it with sandbox but technically this shouldn't work.

this is made for the TTT Shop so it probably wont work for sandbox.

@Schmock You have to add the ConVars to your server.cfg located in your server files under garrysmod/cfg. You can also just set them ingame via the console. Therefor you need to connect to the server via rcon and set the value.

I am Serveradmin and i want to change the global Vars, but where can i find the cfg on my Server?

@Luca nope, there is currently no integration with ULX whatsoever. I would need to check if the server is running ulx to avoid errors and I don't know how to do that. I thought about making a separate ulx plugin but I have to read about it because I don't have a clue when it comes to ulx :D

Can I edit the values via the ULX plugin ?

@Bodysnatch_Thunderpants Thanks man! I do really appreciate that you've done that request so fast! It is hard to efficiently tell players that there is this kind of tool and this way people dont have to worry about too much configuration.

@MomoMB I just pushed an update which allows global configuration. You have to set ttt_bem_allow_change to 0. Then you can change the ttt_bem_sv ConVars to set the layout for everyone :)

@MomoMB currently, no there isn't. I'll see if I can make more ConVars which are serverside. With these you could allow the users to change the values or not and create custom base values. I'm not sure though how easy that is to do, but I will definetly look into it :)

Is there a way to change the base values and make everyone on a server use the same layout?
