Yes, is possible activate it, just put you empires2_x1_p1 and empires2_x2_p1 on you file (Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD\resources\_common\dat) and done, but you cant join in multiplayer game.

Ah, I suppose not. I'm not sure you can activate dat mods to play a campaigns currently.
I'll have to look into that.

Thanks, my bad - my problem was that I tried to in campaigns. Is it possible to set it also when playing campaigns ?

@Dequachu - Is it only the red and green for the player colors that needs to be changed?
What color would be good instead of red or green?

I look forward to a minimap for colorblind for over a decade.
Wish there's a minimap help to distinguish between red and green.
some idea: conspicuous relic/replace dot with other type/del unneccesary unit
Maybe your mod would be part of gamedata someday.
