you know like the excalibur shield blade weapon

thought these were weapons with a secondary block function... please make them weapons with a block function.

the mods called sip can you make a patch to add these new shields to it?

do they show up in spawn item mod

Honestly it would make more sense to me if block was almost nonexistant, but you could perfect block for a little longer than normal.

I feel you. I do believe it would be heavily educational for me towards doing such.
However at best. This was just a very simple mod.. that was eye opening for me and I loved creating it.
Eventually over time whenever I have more time that I can dedicate and learn more I can do as you said.

@Banny Don't worry! I really love the sprites and the idea behind it. I would appreciate it alot if you still tried. Would also be educational wouldn't it?
Sadly i don`t even know how to do this modding stuff at all.
All i can do i come up with good ideas but that`s nothing special after all.
I would also recommend to buff the "Shield Health" at least since the Tungsten Breaker has exactly the same ammount of low health like the basic vanilla shield oyu can craft and that kind of a big big hell no :D

The simple answer is... Im not exactly a good modded. This is my very first mod ever. It was something I liked the idea of to either 'look cool' or 'add' more 'shields' into the game.
Its nothing overly fancy in my opinion. I do however enjoy looking somewhat like a duelist tank than a person with a buckler.

just realised that you didnt make actual shields rather than parrying tools. i wonder how you came to the conclusion that making "weapon braking shields aka parry daggers" completely without beeing able to perfect block rather than doing something like deal automatic "counter" damage while getting hit during perfect block window?
well im gonna try this thing nonetheless since there aint any mods adding a variety of shields anyways.might wanna think about my suggestion tho

I see how you mean so. I probably can and will revamp them in the future... for now though im very very new to the modding scene and while these aren't perfect... I am quite content how they are at the moment.

The broadsword parry is probably one of my favorite specials in the game for defensive abilities. Thank you for the feedback though~!

Just my opinion, I feel like these would be perfect if instead of lacking a perfect block, they worked like the parry special from Broadswords - ONLY a perfect block possible, but then you have to wait for the ability to cooldown before using it again.

Seems to represent their actual utility as off-hand parrying weapons better.

Feel free to ignore, though, I was just suggesting it on the off chance you hadn't thought of it.

Downloading this mod either way tbh.
