like i said, i've considered it, but i don't really have the motivation to do it, most of the packs i've made so far were made because i wanted them for myself and i don't think i'd use a corey cruise pack

however, there was someone who made a postal 1 pack who said they wanted to make a corey cruise pack but didn't because they worried it'd conflict with my pack, i left a comment telling them about the new convar i added, so maybe they'll do it

alright, just pushed an update that adds support for the models verl wanted support for (and a few others) as well as some cvars that can be used to disable the vox pack for specific models (they all start with "chriscj_postal_dude_vox", i'll write something about them in the description later)

if anyone else wants support for a model i'm currently not covering, just ask
it's not too hard to add support for new models, i just didn't feel like going through every single dude playermodel on the workshop

i've considered it, but there's other things i'd rather do tbh and i if i were to make another postal vox pack i'd probably remake this one first

i'm also never going to make one for the postal 4 dude because JSJ harrassing gianni matragano about his duke impressions [web.archive.org] left a bad taste in my mouth

adding support for new models is really easy actually, i just never did it because i thought if someone ever were to make a JSJ dude vox pack they might want to target that model

now that i think about it, maybe it'd be possible to just add a convar that allows you to choose which models the pack applies to, back when i made this i didn't know much about glua, but i could probably do something like that nowadays

Enhanced Playermodel Selector has a feature that allows you to assign any vox pack to any playermodel, you can just use that for now

been a while since i updated this, i've considered adding more to it but this already uses pretty much every voiceline i could get back then that i could map to an action that vox supports

maybe someday i'll go through postal 4 and brain damaged to get more lines, but i'm not gonna give any guarantees and if it does happen it probably won't be soon since i haven't spent that much time in gmod recently

u have plans for adding more voicelines in general and when reloading out of ammo falling spawning etc?

Okay, I did read the desc but I couldn't figure out how to use it but then I noticed and now know how to use it like I didn't really read any of this: "Custom Callouts - Plays a custom sound when player requests it (depends on the VOX pack support; "tfa_vox_callouts_list" to show list of custom callouts available in the pack and "tfa_vox_callout <id>" to trigger it)
Callout Wheel - Radial selection menu for custom callouts (bind a key for "+tfa_vox_callout_radial" command to use it") and now know how to use it so yay I can be postal dude from de funny game Postal 2!!!

I was about to say that I don't like using audio cut from video clips, but in the process of looking up "Zack Ward" to make sure I was thinking of the right guy I found out that they added a new option that allows you to use the Movie Dude Voice in P4, so maybe...

I was considering making voice packs for the other dude voices, and making one for Zack Ward isn't out of the question, but if I made another Dude Voice Pack i'd probably do Corey Cruise first, and even that's just a maybe, so I'm not gonna give any guarantees on either of those.

if the latter is the case, make sure you're using one of the supported models, i just noticed that there have been a bunch of new dude models made that i haven't added support for yet, if you're using one of those you can use the enhanced playermodel selector addon to add the pack to one of the new models until i add support for it

it works, need Postal Dude and make sure to ♥♥♥ to respawn as him. also for those lazy ass kids heres some wise words from a wise person: "If want to use the radial menu, you'll have to bind it to a key by entering "bind "h" "+tfa_vox_callout_radial" " (without the outer quotes of course) into your console. You can replace the h with any other key, the codes you'll need to enter for the non-alphabetical/numerical keys can be found here." There now if you say it doesnt work then go in your bathroom, look at the mirror and call yourself lair till you drop dead. Great Mod!

well, your decription is pretty vague, so the only thing i can really tell you is to try using this alternative voice menu and see if you can get that to work
