It should be. There is a lite version that doesn't have the technology requirements but my normal mod should.

i love the mod, however technology of Monarchy is not connected to anything (no requements) so it is research-able from turn 1, i cant find a typo or anything in ur XLM file, could anyone help?

This use to let you build a palace and it had pictures come up of different rooms like when wonders are built but the first expansion for civ broke it. You can sitll build the rooms but the pictures no longer show.

I wish Civ V allowed the building of the customized palace, as it was in Civ III. I want to have a palace that, periodically, as the population is happy enough, I can add a part to my palace. Is this what I've been looking for?

It's not unfair as all sides including the AI can build this stuff. I plan to go over these again and probably buff a few up. Buidings have to be worth building, if the palace stuff is no stronger then even a normal building but costs twice that doesn't work.

This mod was broken in a GNK patch released by firaxis and was unfixable at the time. I am planning to check it out again soon to see if BNW doesn't have the same issues. But for now I wouldn't try to use this mod. The light version might be more compatible.

i'm not absolutely sure if it's this mod, but whenever i try to do the ideology social policies where each national wonder gives happiness, i only get one happiness, though i have several national wonders as well as these palace enhancements. i'm pretty sure it's this mod because this is the only one that affects wonders that i am subscribed to. any thoughts? i have gnk and bnw.

Given that months have no gone by, can anyone tell about if this works with CiV+GnK+BNW+EoA(BNW Edition)??? Would love to add this to my must-mods! Also, does the AI use this or does this come across simply as a player-only benefit?

It had pictures come up like normal wonders but a bug in civ has killed that. :(

This mod works fine for me, but I was hoping it added the palace aspect from the original Civ game, not just buildings themed for a palace.

It's been played with on G+K with no issues before. The new patch may have effected things so I will take a look.

Mod conflicts with iron & horses appearring on map. None in current game on entire world (G&K version).

I can't find out which mod it conflicts with, but the game crashes with a Runtime Error.
V1 was compatible with all the mods I used. So, if you could remember which Tech change, or any other change you brought with V2, it could help me sorting this out, thanks.

Computer crashed has caused me to rebuild the mod from scratch, if this version downloads for you delete version 1.

This version also has added quotes.

Faith was on the Altar to help early religion founding, however in the first rendition, it was +2 culture, i will send you the origonal files if you like so you can compare the versions. It's kind of fun to see the evolution of its first stage to this one, and the next

It would need ONE change, because of the yield for faith - if you want this to work in vanilla, open the XML inside the mod for Palace Alter and change yield of Faith to Culture.

Once i get my current project finished, splash screens will likely be added - then i can experiment with the splash screens to see if i can create "splash screen" addons akin to the old system but that is a little bit down the road.

The AI should use it and art just means it has art files for all the buildings.

Nice =) really i nearly had forgotten those epic Civ1 palace upgrade that was sooo fun =) ill rate sub fav and check when i get back to work. what do you mean by art support? and last question, is the building part are "Flavored" so the ai will upgrade palace?

There is also a tech free lite version of this mod which is less complete but more compatible.
