I just checked on my end, working just fine-

It might be caused by some custom mission you are playing not loading the faction properly, or you have the mods, but not enabled/loaded.

Make sure you have all the dependencies loaded, they are listed in the sidebar.

sry for late reply, after more research, I contact the owner of the SMA mods, they changed some classnames of the magazines in theri mod, so the units could not be loaded with the correct mags to them, just change the classname of the mags you want them to use in you config.bin should fix it.

the only aI mods should be ACE3 at the time, and from further test, thought the reason is the primary weapon mags are too few(or the AI did not noticed the mags somehow) for the AI to somehow know he still have enough ammo for his primary weapon.

Are you using AI mods, or fighting at really close ranges? I haven't noticed that myself but if it is a big issue I could remove pistols from most units.

it seems all the soldiers with SCAR MK16/MK17 would switch to pistols when engaging enemies, test both in singleplay and in servers.

Updated workshop page with new images and some text corrections. - As far as other Metal Gear Solid themed units, I may do them in the future but the priority is the main SFF / SFF-R factions and the Faction Overhauls.

Have you thought of doing other fictional units? Maybe some of the MGS factions (Diamond Dogs, XOF, other MGS4 PMCs) or something else entirely, like Taskforce 141 or Shadow Company from COD: Modern Warfare 2. Really been digging the SFF mods and overhauls so far.
