this mod and the mod that puts the black candle in the starting room doesn't work for me anymore. i don't know if there was something done to these mods or the game or if i downloaded some mod that affects these mods, but it doesn't work. which is odd considering the mod that fills the starting room with random items still does work. not sure if a fresh reinstall of the game would fix this, but i assure you, reinstalling all mods doesn't fix it.

Heya, just a heads-up, there's an exploit that can be used from a little bug in the mod. If you create a new run, stay in the first room without picking up the item and then exit the run and come back, another item will spawn. I think this can be done pretty much forever, as a new one spawns every single time (I tested it about 10 times in one run and there was a new item without fail)

I know this spawns 1 powerful item at the start of a run, but does it also influence drop rates of other items? It could just be luck but I swear the item room drops are being changed as well to have more powerful items.

Honestly this is a great mod- if I'm playing with mods I want to have fun and see wierd combinations, and having 1 gauranteed interesting item right away removes the '10 minutes of boredom' the game can suffer through if you get a really bad first level. Runs smooth, does exactly what it says.
