As a note, using Automated Ark shows this amazing sexy state of the art engineered dart and you can craft it from it Smithicator. Thanks for the awesome mod! Tried to find something to work, the mods either added countless useless items or workbenches, or outright crashed my game when trying to start the game with them installed.

Hey there Engy, I think your mod is great. But there are two things about it I'd like to ask of you. First, could you probably make a second mod for this where making them is at little more expensive for players who like a challenge, like maybe 2 metal ingots 1 bio toxin and 3 narcotics. Skipping making the simple rifle bullets and tranq darts are great, but lots of people still like at little bit of a challenge when getting and crafting high tier items. Second, these darts are not usable under water, could you also make a mod that let's you craft tranq spears from these engineered shock tranq darts for the spear gun? It would help so much when I go hunting for mosasaurs and other high level prey.

FYI this addon still works on Genesis 2. It does not show up in S+ Fab, but does in a normal fabricator. Also Bill's suggestion is a good work around if you don't want to keep around a normal fabricator around.

@Remnant Fate It works. I tested it since I saw your comment. If you aren't seeing it you probably have a mod that is screwing up the normal fabricator.

im not entirely sure this works atm... i see the engram in my engrams list but when i go to ANY fab its not there, and iv got three of em. a normal one, the S+ one, and another from a "bulk" mod, the good news is that i can just spawn them in but... still feels bad >.>

Hi. I've got a question, as it seems your mod is the closest thing for me to what I'm looking for.

Is there a particular way to keep the base Shocking Tranq Dart (vanilla) but disable the Spoil Timer in the games settings? I'm not wanting the super high damage of this mod, unfortunately, however I'd like the vanilla one without expiration. Something such as this expiring doesn't entirely make sense to me, so I felt it makes logically more sense to just remove spoiling.

Appreciate any help. o/

Mod was updated. Torpor is being applied again. It appears I just needed to update to the latest devkit and re-cook the mod.

We added the Castles and Keeps mod and now the darts have no effectiveness! Is this related or some other issue going on? Thanks!

it didn't work in a normal one either the only way we were able to craft them was the admin spawned in the blueprint and gave it to us to place in the fab then we were able to craft them

@NSGG Try in a normal unmodded fabricator. It works for me. I didn't test with modded fabricators, but I doubt it will work in them. If your have a mod that removes the normal fabricators somehow, I don't guess it can be made on that server.

they should be in the vanilla fab but im having the same issue on my server we have learned them and they are still not showing up i had the mod before and it worked just fine but now that i took my server back to the island and added with a new mod pack we are now not able to craft them the mod is working fine other ways we can spawn them in and use ones we have uploaded but we just cant craft them anyone know why?

so i learned the engram and built two fabricators a adavnced one and normal and still can't find this mod in either one of them so what fabricator are these built in

This may seem oddly specific.. but I've been looking around for a mod that allows the longneck/tranqs to fire underwater.. but I don't really want overpowered torpor levels or anything.. so I have a few questions.. are you able to remove the overpowered effect in a setting or anything? if not.. are you able to make some kind of modification that removes that as a seperate mod? and uh.. if that's too much effort (i'm not familiar with modding, sorry..) do you know where I can find a mod that'l suit my needs? I've been searching all day to no real success.

From experience, Extinction core mods the Shocking Dart so that you craft it from a non-standard location. Guessing there is something in how they modified the dart that is causing the conflict.

Interesting, after removing Extinction Core and going back to the regular game with just a few mods, the Engineered Dart doesn't show up in the Fab still. May need to try placing down a new Fab.

theres a problem where if you learn the normal shoking tranq engram the engineered one dosent become learnable in the engrams im using the extinction core mod in first slot i dont know if that could be the cause but please fix or add a workaround thanks

@bear1600 I don't think it's Annunaki, I downloaded it and tried it and this mod on single player and didn't have any problems. Perhaps it could be another mod, or not. Anyway I thank you greatly for the extra details. So far I'm not sure what to do about it.

@bear1600 After seeing your message, I tested on a single player world with only this mod, and on a multiplayer server with 20 other mods, and didn't have any issue. As far as I know this mod doesn't do anything that could make it conflict with other mods.

@jcewazhere Not currently, but I would love to figure out how to do that. If I can figure it out, I will make it available. I have seen other mods make options available via ini, so it at least seems possible.

@Engy Is there a way (config option, ini change etc...) to nerf the torpor it does? ~17 times more powerful than a normal shocking dart is a bit much for my tastes. I love being able to fire underwater and not spoiling is great though.
