A lot of the inspiration for actually making the weapons came from that, yes. Haven't played it in quite a while, though.

If you wanted to put up a testing pack on the "stable" branch, I have a dedicated server with a decent player base and could bug test them. Needs to be a pack, though, since editing the configs and rebooting all the time gets tiresome very fast.

Correct. Large grid only right now. I'll be making smaller ones for small grid as well as fixed weapons in the future. I just built large ships more than small so there's a bigger need.

The weapon mods you've released all look very neat! Just a small thing, it would be nice if you would include the ranges (AI and manual), the damage amount and ammo type, and size of the block at the minimum.
