Don't get seen by the camera, you need to sneak by it undetected! Just wait for it to point to the ceiling and run under it.

when i'm doing the intro and I walk into the room with the camera as a felin the camera starts to blare an alarm and closes the gate and idk what to do, is this a bug or is there something i should've done first?

I can't jump in the intro mission on the platform, the SAIL computer reminds me that "a different creature would not make a jump this high but you are a felin" but still.. I can't jump that high ;(
am I missing something?

I saw someone else ask this earlier. I'm also working on a custom race and wanted to make an intro mission but know nothing about scripting. would you mind if I used this as a template as well, and of course give you credit for making this kind of thing possible ^.^

@ZerKoma: some other mod may be interfering, especially one that also messes with the ships.

You can beam up during the vanilla tutorial if you enable admin mode, so i'm guessing Kirbcake had admin on and clicked to beam up.

I don't know about the rest but the camera should be doable. Just time it right.

Is this mod broken? For some reason beaming up is allowed, which just breaks the game, and the finals obstacle course bit is impossible to enter because a camera just shuts the door and you can't get past it.

Yo, I'm making a custom race and I'm using this as a sort of template for a special intro mission. Once I get it to work, I'll remove all the sprites and stuff that you made, but I'm no scripter. I hope that's okay.

Figured out what was going on. Mod #1455563291 (Racial Intros) has an identical "bootship.questtemplate.patch" file that does exactly the same thing as the one in this mod. Ditto for "gaterepair.questtemplate.patch". I'm assuming the files are simply required fixes for making racial intros in work and that the errors caused by having both mods installed are completely harmless. Case closed, I suppose.

I'm doing my best to figure out the error myself, but I'll ask here about this just in case somebody's seen it before. Pretty sure it's a different mod making a mess and then this mod reporting the mess it finds. Also, love this mod!

Love the depth that went into this mod, great work ! .. Any chance that cool arcade game can be put as seperate mod ? I can't get this whole mod working with my current mix but would love to be playing that sweet space shooter as crops grow :) There are not many playable arcade games and you guys have made the best!

I'm pretty sure there's something going on with whatever the content is stored on. In the first phase (collecting) Starbound can see the content just fine, but then in the second (checking and sorting), a whole bunch suddenly disappeared!

Well... wtihout looking at files, did you rename the base mod at all? As in "name" found in _metadata? "friendlyName" shouldn't matter for this. I'm pretty sure the strings for "name" in the main mod must be a literal match with the string listed in the requirements for the dependent mod. So identical capitalization too.

If the error is only happening to one person, that's weird. I'd unsub and resub to both mods. If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall Starbound itself. Before that make a backup of your \starbound\storage\ folder just in case.

Notice how it says it can't find the directory it could find earlier? That's the Felins mod. The other one is the intro. I wonder what could cause this?

I too have no idea how that could happen. If both are Workshop subscriptions, they should just work. If one was a separate installation from outside of the Workshop and the other was not, I could understand how that'd cause problems.

This happened with the original Felins and this mod subbed, as well as resubbed. Friend's having the problem, we don't know what's causing the issue.

Just the Felin. Other races can't even finish it because they can't jump as high to pass one of the sections.

does this change the into mission for all races or just felin?
