Thing is, I'm way ahead of you. I became frustrated with this trying to mess around with hint textures and the skips. Area portals gave me errors. I don't think I'll be updating this map anymore since I really don't have the time and motivation.

After viewing the vents I do not think this is a good map anymore.

It has no optimizations. I would consider updating your map with areaportals. I tested the map out with wireframe and every prop in the house is rendering 24/7, when you can just make it render whenever it's visible, because why else would you need to render it?

It's simple to do and won't take too much of your time to add it.

Get VIDE. Once you exract the vmt, and remove the base texture, you *should* be able to replace it.

That's your problem. REMOVE ""$basetexture" "glass\offwndwb"" FROM THE VMT FILE!! :D

Wow, I didn't honestly think it could have made someone go through all of this to try and fix it. :(. I am really sorry about all that your trying to do. You said you found the texture lodgeglass, I was sure that I included that in the game. I just don't know whyyyyyYYYY. :/

K, this really sucks. I don't know a lot about cubemaps but I did add plenty of env_cubemaps all round the level. if you tried buildcubemaps and it said it is not writable, and your desperate for this to work, get GWTool https://goo.gl/Nm0CMV , unpack the .bsp and save it to your garrysmod > maps folder (yes). run the .bsp in your maps folder and try building the cubemaps ingame. If you still get errors then I suggest looking for further help online.
Its so weird because half the people here are having the pink window issue, and half aren't :\. I don't know why this is and all my friends had no issues.
