holy shit, you people are annoying, just use reel's Facial Animation instead

if comments offend you just lock the mod and forget about it. this mod is yours and is abandoned, blaming other people who didnt create the mod for it not being updated is ridiculous. This is actually a really good mod, and its your own fault if you arent able to monetize your work, and I doubt anyone is gonna want to give you $$$ with such a poor attitude.

Why hasn't anyone forked the mod from GitHub in the past 11 years and showed some interest?

Why should I work for free on a mod for a game I haven't played (apart from testing) in the past 6 years, espeacially without any help or support from the "community"?

Why should I stop bringing up these topics?

Because every single person on the planet can download the code for themself, update it and share it. That was the thought behind open sourcce when I started working on the mod.

Hey dude, these people commenting don't seem to have the ability to read. Thanks for the time you put into this mod. I just restarted Rimworld after like 4 years of break, maybe even more, and one of the first mod that came into my mind was yours.
I hope someone here will be able to take your project and update it. If not, well that's our loss but there's nothing we can say about it.
Just wanted to thank you for the great mod that made me enjoy Rimworld back then. GL on your future projects

Still can't play Rimworld without this mod. It's just too integral a part of the game to see their lively faces, and have all the different facial things distinguishing the colonists. Shame I'm no good in the type of modding this requires.

UPDATE NOW STOP CRYING

As I wrote earlier, the mod is open source and from my memory there's only one method to be fix for 1.4 compatibility. I've worked hundreds of hours on this mod and I don't have the motivation or time to continue for a game I'm currently not playing.

Any help is appreciated, I count on the community!

Bro, come back, there are no normal and centralized mods like yours, everything you wrote about them being better is nonsense. This was the best mod for faces and limbs.

The devs won't add this as long as people are dumb enough to pay the full £20 each for the three DLCs... Maybe they'll sell it as a mini DLC, and it can a 'The Sims 4: EA Experience!' experience.

Please update to 1.4 <3

I agree, still found nothing close tot his mod... But the last update is 5 months ago an it doesn't seem to work at all anymore... :(

Just randomly checked back to see if there was any hope for a return, so stoked that the possibility exists! The character and life this mod added to our little pawns was an essential factor in my enjoyment of this game. Heck yeah

I haven't given up hope either, all these replacements for it just don't have the same feel at all.

@King Plebeian: No idea, there were only minor changes. Currently stuck at updating the method for getting missing/replaced body parts, as I'd have to possibly rewrite some things.
@BeeKing: I've played RW for 2,4548.8 hours, while at least 1,500 of those were development, playtesting and bug fixing, about 300 had to do with the update/animation system for 1.3 earlier the year. Haven't played RW for a while and hoped someone else would at least update/maintain this mod, as I'm lacking some free time.

- FS animation for hands and feet for walking and working (WIP)
- New hand shape for making use of angles
- Fully colored hands n feet depending on the apparel coverage
- Weapons mostly following hands and will be drwan behind a pawn if facing east or north
- Smoother walk cycle animations by blending various speeds together
- Walk cycle selection depending on the actual speed and not the job urgency
- Preparations for a new animation system (WIP)
- Was working with Children School and Pregnancy the last time I tested (please avoid toddlers, they are basic quadrupeds not bipeds ;c) )

Added the Show me Your Hands mod with the 1.4 update, it doesn't do anything... No errors either

@blonde: I already did that and I wrote it several times in the comments and one time in the description under 'Replacements':

Stopped working on it as I received no bug reports or feedback.

to no surprise i have all of those already lmao. thanks for the recommendation though. Show Me Your Hands is really solid and is a good enough replacement. I do wish there was some form of animated feet or legs mod because for whatever reason I enjoy seeing pawns walk instead of float. I know I'm in the minority here though and it isn't by any means crucial

@thundercraft what about show hair with hats. wasnt that something this mod did too? kv's version is 1.3 atm

@Thundercraft, those mod don't even come close to what this mod does. The 1.3 works, sort of.

I reverted back to 1.3 and I am not playing the DLC, simply because I enjoy this mod more lol

I'm not sure if it works on the latest build of RimWorld 1.3. But I thought I should mention it.

Several of the features of this mod can be found in other mods. For example, FS Beards And Taches quote, adds 39 beards and moustaches from the original Facial Stuff mod, converted to Vanilla beards." And I know it does not look the same, but the [NL] Facial Animation - WIP mod does a lot of what this mod did.

Finally, you could add "Show Me Your Hands", Yayo's Animation (lots of animation for pawns) and, perhaps, a few others like Faces of the Rim - Facial Animation or Wanted: A facial anim. Extension to get a lot back of what this added.

There is the Show Me Your Hands mod. Quote, "Pawns show their hands on their weapon when drafted." Currently, it is only updated to 1.3. However, Mlie did post that he plans to update all mods to 1.4 and that the current progress of mod updates is over on Mlie's Discord channel.

faces i can get used to with any other facial animation mod but for some reason, nobody seems to want to make a mod for hands & feet. if there were any possibility of downloading a 1.4 hands & feet only mod, i'd be happy.
