nvm if its slow to load your inventory you have to go in game directory files and open skseloader

it takes like 3 seconds for skyui to load every time i open the inventory

this mod is not broken. Steam just opens the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) wrong, if you gone the most usal path to instal SKSE for steam.

You shouldnt open Skyrim or the SKSE on steam, you have to go to the folder of SKSE and start there the .exe-application skse_loader and SyUI will work without lags and the error message will not appear!


You can open the SKSE directory from your SKSE steam page or navigate to the folder for your SKSE in your steam folder yourself too and you can make a direct link on your destop for the .exe-application to simply start skyrim with this link.

There should be a link to the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) on this page, not some external website that has the link.

SkyUI is broken, game keeps crashing right at the main menu. and yes i'm running SKSE first. sadly i haven't gotten an error log to tell me what specifically is crashing it.

I"m also getting a lot of question marks and lag-time in the inventory. Did I install it wrong? Is there an order it needs to be in? Like...is this just not working anymore?

i have version 1.3.23 and it does not let me use this mod cuz it. how do I update the version I just download skyrim again after a while of not playing.

When I open the app using Skyrim/skse_loader.exe everthing works fine, so maybe it will help some someone else :D

Just got the same issue.
I downladed SKSE from browser {ĐƯỜNG DẪN BỊ XÓA}(https://skse.silverlock.org --> Download installer) and run it.
It create a shortcut on your desk that launch Skyrim via SKSE, and it works !
No error code and opening inventory don't take much time.
Hope it will works for you.

Thanks a lot, reinstalling SKSE on the same drive as Skyrim fixed my problem

if you get error code 1
then you probably installed SKSE to another partition or hard drive than SKYRIM.
uninstall SKSE and install try installing it on the drive that has SKYRIM on it.
fixed it for me.

When playing on Steam Deck, SkyUI does not let me switch inventories to shop vendors and companions. I've tried everything I can, but when playing on Steam Deck it looks like I have to disable this mod. Anyone find a solution yet?
