BennyLava 4 aug 2023 om 17:32
will you upload the instances of these for download? I'd like to use these (especially the Excursion Turrets)
thepotatoeyo / NoirXolotl 14 feb 2022 om 17:54
That is sick! Keep up the good work!
c4shurik 14 nov 2020 om 8:36
Perfectly! All these moments that you may not immediately leave but return to other parts of the room! Very nice!
Light Warrior 5 jul 2019 om 17:05
"Laser turrets: 'nough said." Um, actually, no. Laser turrets need a ton more explanation, such as why they are extremely erratic and unreliable. Maybe THAT is why we "have so many single purpose bullet firing turrets"... because they actually work like they're supposed to! Your chamber is riddled with other glitches, such as one that forced me to get stuck against a wall and made me unable to move off it.
dpy 27 sep 2018 om 7:58
oh ok
Pacca  [auteur] 26 sep 2018 om 23:43
They have an attachment called eyes, eye, or head I think. One of those most likely.
dpy 26 sep 2018 om 23:25
Oh okay then one more question: how did you attatched everything to turrets laser pointer? is this SetParentAttachmentSomething?
Pacca  [auteur] 26 sep 2018 om 10:14
I made a map like that too :weasel: It's called panel cubes or something like that. Anyways, in order to update the tractor beams position, I had to constantly toggle it off and on. That way, every time it tutns back on, it comes from the new position. The tractor beam gun I made in one of my other maps works like that too :weasel:
dpy 26 sep 2018 om 8:55
How did you make this tractor beam moving? i was trying to do this already, but it was not moving... btw i have made a veeeery similiar map, but i have made cubes instead of turrets. please see my workshop :steamhappy:

your grammar is Chaos.

I had a cool idea for turrets that shot gel just recently and found this cool map. (Been wanting to make a variation of this)

This was really cool, I like it! :steamhappy:
Bambco 31 dec 2016 om 10:28
Concept interesting but too cahotic
76561198060997660 25 dec 2016 om 13:30
heres the thing if the Turret Spots the Enemy It aims just 2 in to their Direction to block them off and by the Angle too
Pacca  [auteur] 25 dec 2016 om 11:21
@Heroboy: I was seriously considering adding a light bridge turret (and maybe even a light bridge gun), but it would have been too confusing and buggy to be worth the effort. Moving light bridges would not function like you'd expect them too, it'd mostly cause whatever your pointing at to twitch in midair, and would probably drop things.

@I kinda fail: I do have an idea to cut down the turrets buggy movement when held, I'll apply it if I ever come back to this concept. As for the other bug, that's a general issue I have with moving excursion funnels (my WIP excursion gun suffers this issue as well). Not sure how to fix it, but I'll try. As for the last room, thats' just a giant arena for players to mess around with the new turrets, it's not really meant to be a challenge or anything.
76561198060997660 25 dec 2016 om 10:03
Add a new Turret: Light Brige (Pushes Player or Blocks or even as Platform, and Blocks him/her to reach to the Goal can be destroyed by useing it's Light Brige or Sneaking up on it to ♥♥♥♥ it over)
I Kinda Fail 23 dec 2016 om 1:48
Pretty buggy, but I'd enjoy the concept in the future, if you can fine tune the twitchiness. The main problem were the laser ones, they just went all over the place. There was another bug (I guess?) where the game kept playing the funnel music (it plays when you're flying) 2 rooms after the funnel turrets. And I'm actually not sure what the deal was with the last room - I walked along the top of the boxes, and saw a bunch of turrets below, and fell into the exit on accident. Was that supposed to be easily bypassed, or what? O_o Still, good job!
cochetmichel49 21 dec 2016 om 10:50
No bug for me, and a lot of fun ! Yhanms for creating
Pacca  [auteur] 10 dec 2016 om 9:39
@Light Warrior: What bugs did you find? I wouldn't release if I knew it was unplayably flawed :T

@VTree: Here's a good one, it didn't get as much attention as it deserved. I will warn you, though, it can get pretty buggy http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=795268550
ViiNTAGE 10 dec 2016 om 8:48
Hey I did a blind playthrough or your map I hope you enjoy! Feel free to recommend me other maps of yours to play :)

Light Warrior 9 dec 2016 om 17:54
Unfortunately, this map is too buggy to be enjoyable. :(
Glupling 8 dec 2016 om 0:49
Alright, Thanks for clarification.
Pacca  [auteur] 8 dec 2016 om 0:39
@Scott Meaty: I understand the jittery bit, it was a little annoying to me too. This is due to the fact that a small, invisible block is used in front of the turrets to prevent them from firing bullets; I'll try to push it out further away from the turret if I ever make another map with this concept. As for the lag, I can only suggest turning the graphics settings down; mine are always are always at the bare minimum because my computer sucks :T
Glupling 8 dec 2016 om 0:01
A lot of the turrets were very jittery while carrying them (at least for me), causing issues with puzzle solving, as well as just not looking nice. Also a small amount of lag spikes here and there. Otherwise it's pretty good.
ZAEROS 7 dec 2016 om 10:28
Not been to this planet before and I normally dont like rule changes, All changed now, Please continue to baffle me,
Pacca  [auteur] 6 dec 2016 om 16:00
@Scott Meaty: Any specfic details that stuck out to you? Keep in mind that the majority of the level was built in the puzzle maker (because I'm not the best at detailing :steamsad:).
Glupling 6 dec 2016 om 0:36
The idea is there, but the whole presentation is a bit clumsy. Could use some work.
Miraak29 5 dec 2016 om 14:26
Really funny and interesting by the way
Pacca  [auteur] 5 dec 2016 om 13:47
@YerMom (lol): That's an excellent idea. I have yet to go about making turret skins, but if someone supplied me with some, they would be easy to implement.

@quatrus: Yeah, it is a rather odd puzzle element, but it does have potential.
quatrus 5 dec 2016 om 8:19
really novel - but not sure how to use in a puzzle/map.. creative!
Gawdzilla 5 dec 2016 om 3:41
This is actually a clever concept I'd like to see implemented for new puzzle mechanics. I think the turrets should be color-coded though so players know right off the bat which ones they need to avoid or try to kill and which ones they need to solve puzzles or use against each other.
gamingdominari 4 dec 2016 om 14:28
This is really cool.
