Hi, I have uploaded some in-game footage using your very nice NZ "DL" and "AK" coaches.

Something to add to the "Planned Features" list - Reversable

This is a really great model. I've seen a few of these locos IRL now and am surprised how compact they seem, considering their impressive power/performance, but I guess that's modern narrow gauge for you.

Giving this the thumbs up cause I'm a NZer.. lol

@matangitrainhater I'd love to have all the NZ stock in-game, but realisticly it's too much work to be calling it a hobby then, specialy for one person. The major factor for what I mod first/next is based on the amount of source material (drawings, photos & dimensions) thats available to me. Another factor is I've been wanting to go from "today" and work my way back to NZ's first steam engine, which has been my plan ever sinds Train Fever.
Currently I've been working on a station (allrdy 1 year now) but have kiwi/aussie coal wagon CB2 {still want to do the grain version of it though} and a dutch locomotive {needs some finishing touches}.

@skiwee, have u thought of doing the NZR EM/ET emu?
Skiwee  [autor] 8 MAR 2017 a las 13:57
@MarkyT I've thought of it indeed. It would be a scripted mod, so that you can turn it on/off when ever. It's just one of them luxury extras I've not spent time on.
MarkyT 8 MAR 2017 a las 11:33
Skiwee, have you considered doing a version of this and your other Kiwi stock with axles adjusted to 1000mm gauge to match the narrow gauge infra pack?
Skiwee  [autor] 23 FEB 2017 a las 11:07
@donaldwal The info is always interresting :) But yea with all the earth-quakes, land slides and still an ongoing recovery effort, I can understand the restrictions.
Anyway the 140km/h was a decision I had made 2 years ago.
dwtrains_nz 22 FEB 2017 a las 23:52
@Skiwee All I know is the loco's are built to do 100km/h, but as far as I know they are still limited to 80km/h due to our dodgy track and axle weight restrictions. If that helps at all...
Big Timberbones 21 FEB 2017 a las 22:08
Any chance you could do Nzr Ja / Ka classes?
Skiwee  [autor] 19 FEB 2017 a las 5:53
@superleesalt Hi, your correct indeed. How ever 100km/h isn't likely to be the locomotives speed limit that is just the New Zealand railway speed limit (simply what it has been designed to accommodate). I've not seen/found any test results of the DL class. So I choose 140km/h as that was the speed other locomotives in the game have (game stats are designed to be balanced to make game-play more fun). This way the locomotive can be used longer in the end-game.
superleesalt 19 FEB 2017 a las 1:46
Hi, on CRRC web (http://www.crrcgc.cc/en) , I found the top speed is only 100km/h and the Tractive Effort is 370kN.

Bro i would like to see this in Indian Pacific blue and yellow and CBH Group colors or even AN colors (Australian National). Great job on the train anyhows.

@consolation prize Thats eventualy the plan, but once I've got nothing more to add or quit. I find it anoying to maintain multiple uploads.
Pytex 8 FEB 2017 a las 8:16
Really Cool! Any chance you can upload this to the official website [www.transportfever.net] so that GoG users can also use it? Thanks!
OzWally 1 FEB 2017 a las 23:17

sounds good :)
Skiwee  [autor] 6 DIC 2016 a las 4:03
@WestTigersNRL1 I will be doing some Aussie rolling stock (atleast it's used in both aussie & nz) to spoil a few suprises I have CB wagon and it's half modeled but been too busy to get it finished (also having trouble finding close-up pictures to figure out how things are supose to work. eg. dump-doors. It's all in the details). I've also got DC class blocked out (looks something like I'd use as the last lod).

@Matt_Wallace The xtc has all ready been done in Train Fever so I'm not touching that. You could ask the creator of that to update it. I do have something in the works you might like though.
Matt Wallace 6 DIC 2016 a las 1:08
awesome mod, would love to see if you could make an nsw trainlink xpt or xplorer
Skiwee  [autor] 5 DIC 2016 a las 12:42

dwtrains_nz 4 DIC 2016 a las 1:03
Thanks a lot for Skiwee, can't wait to test them out on the NZ map, once it's been fixed...

dwtrains_nz 3 DIC 2016 a las 21:04
@[CN]Archer Yes these loco's are made in China.
地瓜之秀 3 DIC 2016 a las 16:30
Is this locomotive made in China?
