Yeah, I think it's best to unsubscribe to all of my weapons. I'll give out a warning when the weapon megapack releases.

E3245 I think I have the majority of yer weapons downloaded. Should I just delete them all since yer working on a megapack and they don't work with WOTC anyway?

I'm sorry to say this, but I probably won't update my weapon mods since my work on the inevitable weapon megapack is nearly complete. However, this statement might change later in the future if I decide that progress on the weapon megapack is going nowhere.

I saw Beaglerush's Long War run and noticed that he used weapons you have created. I also noticed that he managed to make them avalible to his soldiers on the very first mission rather than the vanilla weapons. Can someone please tell me how I can do this myself?

both the M249, and the M240B are manufactured by FN herstal. most US weapons squad level weapons are foreign, with the exception of the M4/ M16. though the weapon is assembled in the US it is done by fabrique nationale d'herstal, and if memory serves, they have the Belgian arms company's stamp on the lower reciever.

I think Wikipedia says that the M249 was made in the USA. You might be thinking of the FN Minimi, which the M249 was based off of.

a minor note, the 249 is Belgian, not American. i know it doesnt really affect anything but immersion, but I thought I'd give my input

This gun is awesome, and way better than the ridiculous default cannon. Audio is maybe on the loud side, but will use this forever! Thanks!

@E3245, sorry to hear that man, that kind of attitude was part of what me step down from the ArmA train; wish you luck finding a good MG3 model from another source, maybe now the CS people are more generous than the ArmA people, i don't know... it's sad, the ArmA community used to have very good and generous people willing to colaborate.

The first person mesh is broken, for optimization purposes. Most of the older CoDs did this to save GPU resources.

Used to, but now they'll vigorously defend their assets to the end of time, with their mindset being that pirates will take their models from them and abuse them, or such.

Im sure that someone on the ArmA3 community will fitch you a good enough MG3 model, with custom sounds, animations and everything; they used to be very generous.
