Yes, that's the reason why this is a pack, because the rail mount is shared between included weapons.

You should probably sub to this first, then to AK-12, but there is a chance that you'll have floating sidemount on the AK-12, as it often happens with sidemount mods being combined with it.

Are you sure you're not playing on some custom server that has modified weapon scripts or something? Try running solo game to test it out, if it works for me, I see no reason it shouldn't work for you.

I unsubscribed to every other workshop subs and even reinstalled the game for good measures, yet I still have the issue.

I've double checked everything, and it seems to me GLs work fine on both. Updated workshop sub, just to be sure I didn't miss anything when fixing RPK last time. If you still have the issue, check for conflicting mods.
