This is my favourite mod map to play on. I just love the creepy eldritch design of it.

A very fun map for circle strafing. I won't say anything about the fall hazard, since that's a matter of personal preference (I personally like it, but it doesn't really matter)

My only complaint is the inconsistency of the texture quality between the chess pieces and...well, everything else really. I don't really mind the snowmen, except the giant one - everything has its measure, even goofiness.

Other than that, the map is fun - its better sides aren't overshadowed by its flaws. I recommend it.

Overall review -
- If funky arena's are your thing with some Detail & pretty visuals are your thing, you'd probably enjoy this map. Not really good for higher difficulties/ 6 player multiplay.

Spawns you off the map and just forces you to skip a wave. Shit map bro.

Version 1.1 Changelog

[*] -- Player spawn points have been rotated 180 degrees to no longer be facing the deadly drop at game start (don't walk backwards though).

[*] -- Minor lightmap optimizations, reducing memory usage and map file size by a few MB.

@Mahagony; HAH yeah sorry man, I put the spawns there during the early phase of the map before much was built, and by the time things got finished I just kinda figured I'd leave them there as the thought of someone pressing W right at map start kind of amused me. Terrible humor. I'll move them to a more humane spot for version 1.1

I swear I've seen this one on KF1 before, or at least, one similar. Anyway, fantastic map, I love the unique aesthetics of it. It's decently sized, and has pillars around, so it isn't just an open area where you can get shot to death by fireballs or Patriarch Missiles. My only complaint, is that having the spawn point be right on the edge of the map, is a colossal dick-move. Regardless, one of my go-to maps for solo, better than the originals!
